Duffy (wrist) is back in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
After a one-game absence due to a sore wrist, Duffy returns to the lineup Wednesday and will hit third in the order against Williams Perez. With his return, Conor Gillaspie will return to his role off the bench Wednesday.

Duffy (wrist) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy was removed from Monday's game after taking a pitch off the wrist. While X-rays returned negative, Duffy will sit out Tuesday while dealing with residual soreness and swelling, and he should continue to be considered day-to-day. Conor Gillaspie will get the nod at third base Tuesday.

X-rays on Duffy's left hand/wrist came back negative, and the infielder is day-to-day, Hank Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy had to leave Monday's game after getting hit with a pitch, and the Giants wasted no time sending him for further evaluation. The outcome was really the best-case scenario for San Francisco, as no serious damage was revealed, and the third baseman was diagnosed with a contusion. He may still need to rest a game or two while he gets his grip strength back, but an extended absence doesn't appear to be in play.

Duffy will get an X-ray on his left wrist, Hank Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy had to be removed from Monday's game in the sixth inning after being struck in the hand/wrist area with a pitch, and the team will waste no time getting a diagnosis. Look for an update from the Giants as soon as the results are made available.

Duffy was removed from Monday's game after he was hit in the left hand/wrist with a pitch, Hank Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy stayed in the game to run the bases, but was replaced by Kelby Tomlinson the next inning at third base. Consider Duffy day-to-day until the team releases additional information.

Duffy went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-5 victory over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
After seeing a modest six-game hitting streak snapped Friday, the 25-year-old was right back at it again Saturday, tallying his third multi-hit outing in the last five games. Despite the recent success, Duffy has been somewhat lacking the hard contact department, as he's yet to hit a homer in May, and only has five extra-base hits (all doubles) during the month.

Duffy went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a run and strikeout against the Padres on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy extended his hitting streak to six games with an RBI single in the sixth, and he's seen the ball pretty well of late going 8-for-21 during that span. His average rose to .250 for the first time since May 15, so things are definitively trending up for the 25-year-old infielder.

Duffy went 1-for-4 Saturday, swiping his fifth bag of the year in a win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
It has undoubtedly been a disappointing sophomore season for Duffy. With only third base eligibility in most leagues, he has barely been worth rostering in standard formats. The increase in steals has been the only positive for Duffy so far, as he is on pace to swipe 20 bags, which is more on par with his career minor league totals. Looking ahead, his .260 BABIP is over 70 points lower than last year's mark and he is striking out less and walking more. This tells us that he has been getting unlucky and things should turn around eventually.

Duffy (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
It seems the decision to hold Duffy out Sunday was largely precautionary, as he's set to return Tuesday after missing just the one start. Duffy was used as a defensive replacement in Sunday's game. He will man third base and bat third against right-hander Colin Rea.

Duffy was held out of Sunday's lineup due to a bit of hamstring tightness, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
What was originally thought to be a routine day off turned out to be injury-related, as Duffy will relinquish his regular third base duties in hopes of giving the hamstring the rest it needs. With a team day off scheduled for Monday, the timing seemed right for getting Duffy a bit of a break. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.
