Duffy (hamstring) went 1-for-2 with a walk in High-A Charlotte's win over Daytona on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports that bench coach Matt Quatraro and field coordinator Paul Hoover, who were both in attendance, had positive on the rehabbing infielder to offer manager Kevin Cash. While there still isn't a definitive timetable for Duffy's return to the big-league club, Cash was encouraged by what he heard about the infielder's performance in game action. "He played well," Cash said. "They went down and watched him play. They said Duffy looked good; he got a base hit up the middle but not much action at third."

Duffy (hamstring) was moved to the 60-day injured list Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy will be bumped off the 40-man roster to make room for the acquisition of Travis d'Arnaud, who was traded to the Rays from the Dodgers on Friday. Duffy likely won't be ready to come off the injured list at least until the end of May, so this move appears to be simply procedural.

Duffy (hamstring) felt good after running the bases Friday and plans to resume his minor-league rehab assignment Monday at High-A Charlotte, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy was pulled from his minor-league rehab assignment earlier this week as he was unable to move past about 85 percent effort due to the hamstring strain, but has apparently progressed nicely over the last couple days. It's not currently clear how many rehab games the 28-year-old is expected to require before rejoining the Rays.

Duffy (hamstring) said the team has decided to "press the pause button" on his rehab assignment, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy appeared in just two games for High-A Charlotte before temporarily shutting things down. The third baseman said his hamstring feels good up to about 85 perfect effort, though he has trouble ramping things up beyond that. The hope is that Duffy will be ready to resume his rehab later in the week, though that will likely depend on his hamstring responds to baseball activities in the coming days.

Duffy, who had a scheduled day off Saturday in his rehab assignment with High-A Charlotte, came out of Friday's game without setbacks, Jeff Seidel of MLB.com reports. "Good day, three at-bats," manager Kevin Cash said. "Got down the line fine. Two defensive plays at third base [and] looked good. [He] came in today, felt very good."
EDGE Analysis
Duffy will suit up again Sunday, although whether he'll once again man third base or fill the designated hitter role is yet to be decided. The rehabbing infielder is slated for multiple games with the Stone Crabs before being evaluated for possible activation.

Duffy (hamstring) went 0-for-3 in HIgh-A Charlotte's win over Jupiter on Friday, the first game of his rehab assignment.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy started at third base and hit second, and he came out of the game without setbacks. Jeff Seidel of MLB.com reports that Duffy will man the hot corner during his rehab for the time being and then will possibly be moved around some depending on how he progresses. "We'll just kind of take it day to day and see what we're hearing from him when he tests out his hamstring, his back, all those things," manager Kevin Cash said. "He'll play some third, [and] the thought in Spring Training [was] to get him out in the outfield. We'll try to at least get this first week or so at third base and then see how he's responding."

Duffy (hamstring) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment with High-A Charlotte on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy has been sidelined all season due to a hamstring injury, but he's finally been cleared to head out on a rehab assignment after getting a sufficient amount of at-bats in during extended spring training games over the past few days. The third baseman is expected to spend the next 7-to-10 days with the Stone Crabs before being reevaluated.

Duffy (hamstring/back) has progressed to getting at-bats in extended spring training games, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The news continues to be positive for the rehabbing infielder, who resumed most baseball activities in mid-April. While the fact he's seeing some semblance of game action is certainly a positive, Duffy still remains without an official timetable for return.

Duffy (hamstring/back) has resumed most baseball activities but has still made "minimal" progress during the few days, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fact Duffy is now back to apparently participating in baseball activities is certainly a positive, but his overall progress is still moving along at a modest pace. A return at some point in May appears to still be the target for Duffy, with the possibility his injured-list stint persists even longer.

Duffy (hamstring/back) has still not resumed any baseball activities but is getting closer to doing so, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The oft-injured infielder is dealing with multiple injuries, and his possible return date is currently projected as early-to-mid May in a best-case scenario. The report from manager Kevin Cash that Duffy is getting closer to resuming baseball activities is encouraging, but he'll presumably still face a multi-week rehab process even when he reaches that benchmark.
