Bowman (1-0) gave up just one hit over a scoreless inning in Thursday's 2-1 Grapefruit League win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old remains perfect this spring, with Thursday's outing bringing his scoreless streak to six innings. Bowman has recorded five strikeouts and given up five hits over that span while also notching a save. The right-hander is projected for another robust workload in the middle-to-late innings in the coming season and should certainly have plenty of opportunity to build on the 13 holds he posted last season.

Bowman is expected to reprise the middle relief role that he thrived in during his 2016 rookie campaign, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old, who was added to the roster as a Rule 5 pick, surpassed Seth Maness as the ground-ball specialist of the bullpen last season, finishing sixth among NL relievers with a 62.1 groundball percentage. His 17 multi-inning appearances were a team high, while he ranked sixth among rookie relievers with 67.2 innings. Along the way, Bowman compiled 13 holds, a 1.17 WHIP and outstanding 4.00 GB/FB ratio across 59 appearances, rendering him one of the more valuable components of the Cardinals relief corps, particularly for the purposes of keeping the ball in the park.

Bowman has given up just two earned runs over 11.2 innings pitched in July.
EDGE Analysis
Bowman's ERA now sits at 3.05 and he also holds a quality 0.99 WHIP, which ranks third best among all Cardinals' pitchers. Although the rookie has proven to be a strong foundation in the Cardinals' bullpen, his success hasn't led to more save opportunities.

Bowman has a 3.75 ERA and 1.08 WHIP after pitching 24 innings in his first MLB season.
EDGE Analysis
After a brutal outing where he gave up four earned runs in less than an inning, Bowman has taken steps in the right direction, giving up four runs across the following 12 innings. With seven of his 18 appearances being for two innings or more, Bowman's shown he has the endurance to pitch long stretches out of the bullpen, but his 1.1 HR/9 could be problematic as the season carries on.

Bowman was hit hard in relief Sunday in the loss to Pittsburgh surrendering four runs on three hits and a walk without recording an out.
EDGE Analysis
Bowman saw his ERA skyrocket nearly three runs to 5.25 after the poor outing. He's provided some decent relief pitching for the most part for St. Louis but it's doubtful he'll have value in fantasy leagues any time soon.
