Week 17 Waiver Wire: H2H Category Streamers rotoballer.com Fri 7/27/18 3:00 AM
I like to consider myself a pioneer of the streaming approach. I won a league about seven years ago completely ignoring saves and just stacking up the starts each week. While streaming is undoubtedly more directly associated with pitching, there's plenty of value in streaming for offense as well.
Maybe you have a stacked roster and you can't drop anyone. But for those of us with a couple of guys on the roster fringes, it's never too early to look into targeting a specific player or two to gai[...]
The Cut List (Week 17): Time to Let Go? rotoballer.com Sun 7/22/18 4:00 AM
Welcome to Week 17 of the Cut List. This week I took a peek at Ender Inciarte, Jake Lamb, Carlos Santana, and Jurickson Profar. All four players should be cut in all shallow standard leagues.
Each player listed in the "better options" section will serve you better in the long run, so don't gloss over that part of the piece.

The Cut List (Week 16): Time to Move On? rotoballer.com Sun 7/15/18 4:00 AM
Welcome to Week 16 of the Cut List. This week I'm taking a look at Eric Hosmer, Brandon Crawford, Marcell Ozuna, and Yangervis Solarte.
All of these guys have been viable standard league options at one point or another this year, but have recently hit cold streaks that have hampered their fantasy value. Sure, Eric Hosmer and Marcell Ozuna are bonafide fantasy studs, but Brandon Crawford and Yangervis Solarte aren't too far behind them. I suggest cutting each of these guys in 10-team leagues,[...]

Hitter Streamers (Week 15) - Head-to-Head Leagues rotoballer.com Sat 7/7/18 2:06 AM
Welcome back to my hitting streamers column for Week 15, taking a look at hitters to add or stream off the waiver wire for this week's scheduled games.
To keep things simple, I pick from players who are 50% owned or less and who play at least seven games in the week. If someone jumps off the page at me as a less than seven game player, I may make an exception, but otherwise the advantage in number of games dictates my choices.
Streaming can be a valuable tool, by allowing you to feast on[...]
Matt Adams Starting on Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 7/5/18 1:56 PM
Washington Nationals first baseman Matt Adams (finger) was activated from the 10-day disabled list on Wednesday. He is batting fifth and playing first base against righty Pablo Lopez on Thursday. Adams was hitting well before his injury and is worth a look in NL-only and mixed leagues. He's worth a shot as a sleeper in DFS against a rookie pitcher in a solid spot in the batting order.

Nationals First Baseman Matt Adams Activated from DL rotoballer.com Wed 7/4/18 5:43 AM
Washington Nationals first baseman Matt Adams has been activated from the disabled list. He has been out since June 15 with a finger injury. Prior to his injury Adams was hitting .275 with 13 home runs and 36 RBI. He isn't in the starting lineup on Wednesday but Adams has enough power potential to be in play whenever he sees playing time.
Matt Adams Will Begin Rehab Assignment on Tuesday rotoballer.com Mon 7/2/18 1:17 PM
Washington Nationals first baseman/outfielder Matt Adams (finger) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Harrisburg on Tuesday. Adams was able to hit in a simulated game without any issues on Monday. There is a chance that Adams is activated and back with the Nats on Wednesday. He's been out since mid-June but is very close to returning. Adams is an option in NL-only leagues and deeper mixed leagues for his power, but playing time could be an issue.
