Robert, who missed significant time due to thumb injuries, will head to the Arizona Fall League, which begins Oct. 9, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-TImes reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robert had just 208 plate appearances in 2018, and was limited to 28 games last year by knee and ankle injuries in the Dominican Summer League. He figures to make up some of that lost development time in the AFL. Considered a five-tool prospect coming out of Cuba, Robert was missing one of those tools in 2018: power. He didn't hit a home run and slugged just .360, but the White Sox are not concerned at this point. "This year was great in terms of getting acclimated to the United States and the organization. He's getting more comfortable, and we look forward to seeing what he is able to do this fall and into a healthy 2019," director of player development Chris Getz said.

Robert (thumb) returned to action with High-A Winston-Salem on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Robert hit the disabled list with a thumb sprain in early July, an injury which was expected to cause him to miss 4-to-8 weeks. He'll end up falling right in the middle of that time frame. In 26 games this season split between the AZL White Sox, low-A Kannapolis, and Winston-Salem, the young outfielder has his .312/.375/.419 with eight steals.

White Sox director of player development Chris Getz said Sunday that Robert (thumb) will likely be activated from the 7-day disabled list and rejoin High-A Winston-Salem at some point during the current week, James Fegan of The Athletic Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Getz noted that Robert's thumb is completely healed and the outfielder is merely getting in some extra at-bats with the White Sox's Arizona League affiliate before rejoining Winston-Salem. Over his five rehab games, the 21-year-old has spent two games in the outfield and three as a designated hitter, going a collective 7-for-18 with three stolen bases.

Robert (thumb) was sent to the AZL White Sox to start a rehab assignment Tuesday, James Fegan of The Athletic Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robert was expected to miss 4-to-8 weeks after suffering a sprained left thumb at the end of June, so he's currently on track for a return in the front half of that timetable. The expected length of the rehab assignment remains unclear and the young outfielder -- who turns 21 on Friday -- could return to High-A Winston-Salem in early August, but the White Sox are likely to remain cautious as he returns from his second left thumb injury of the season.

Robert (thumb) is progressing well and is close to seeing action in the Arizona Rookie League before being reassigned to High-A Winson-Salem, Phil Rogers of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is good news as Robert is coming back on the short end of what was originally estimated to be a four-to-eight week window of recovery time. This Robert's second stint on the disabled list due to a left thumb injury.

An MRI revealed Monday that Robert's thumb injury will keep him out for four-to-eight weeks.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox initially didn't view Robert's injury as anything serious, but the MRI revealed a moderate sprain in his left thumb, which has been placed in a splint. Robert was hitting .293/.372/.373 in 21 games split between Low-A Kannaplis and High-A Winston-Salem prior to the injury. This is the second time this year that Robert has been out with an injury to the same thumb, as he was out until early June with a moderate sprain as well.

Robert was placed on the 7-day disabled list at High-A Winston-Salem on Sunday after aggravating a left thumb injury, Michael Avallone of MiLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox don't view Robert's injury as anything serious, but it's nonetheless another frustrating setback for the outfielder, who has been limited to just 21 games in affiliated ball since receiving a $26 signing bonus in May 2017. Robert was hitting .300/.389/.333 through eight games with Winston-Salem before hurting the digit during Thursday's game against Frederick.

Robert was moved to High-A Winston-Salem on Thursday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Robert was officially promoted from Low-A Kannapolis after going 13-for-45 (.289 average) with four extra-base hits and four RBI during 13 games with the team. Since Robert was out with a thumb injury for the first couple months of the season, he only spent a little time getting back to speed at the Low-A level after competing in extended spring training games.

Robert (thumb) will head to Low-A Kannapolis after returning to health, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robert had been playing games at extended spring training prior to being cleared for a return. Now that he's fully recovered from a thumb sprain, he'll head to Low-A, although the White Sox fully expect him to move up to High-A Winston-Salem sometime this summer.
