Erceg was invited to the Brewers' major-league spring training camp Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Erceg earned the invitation despite a subpar showing for Double-A Biloxi last season, in which he posted a .248/.306/.382 line with 13 homers in 123 games. Those numbers simply aren't good enough for a third baseman, so Erceg's odds of earning his major-league debut this year appear low unless his output improves significantly.

Erceg has hit .305/.349/.513 with eight home runs and 24 RBI over 41 games since the Double-A All-Star break.
EDGE Analysis
Erceg owned just a .629 OPS on the season when the first half came to a close, but his recent hot streak has boosted that number nearly 100 points to .717. His early struggles took some shine off his prospect status, but he still remains one of the top young hitters in the Brewers' system.

Erceg (head) returned to action Thursday for Double-A Biloxi, going 0-for-3 with a run, a walk and a strikeout in Birmingham.
EDGE Analysis
He was sidelined for a couple days after a pitch struck his helmet in Monday's game, but fortunately avoided a DL stint, and presumably avoided a concussion. Erceg has cooled off a bit, hitting .222 with one home run and eight strikeouts over his last 36 at-bats, but still boasts an impressive .306/.378/.417 slash line on the young season.

Erceg (head) will receive a couple days off after a pitch struck his helmet Monday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately, it looks like Erceg avoided a serious injury, although he'll receive some time off as a precautionary measure. Once he returns, Erceg will look to continue his strong start to the season at Double-A Biloxi. Over 18 games he's hit .319 with an .820 OPS.

Erceg is day-to-day after being struck by a pitch on the helmet in a game with Double-A Biloxi on Monday, according to milb.com.
EDGE Analysis
According to the report Erceg "seemed alert and spoke with Shuckers athletic trainer Kevin Creighton before getting to his feet," which provides optimism regarding his status moving forward. Erceg is hitting .319/.385/.435 through 18 games with Biloxi this season.

Erceg is 10-for-26 (.385) with four doubles, four RBI, and a 2:4 BB:K through six games with Double-A Biloxi.
EDGE Analysis
Erceg is playing at the Double-A level for the first time, but he has not encountered any trouble yet, building upon the .864 OPS he posted over 26 games last August. Erceg's stock got a slight boost late last year, but it could see a far more significant bump if he continues handling Double-A pitching with ease.

Erceg will join Triple-A Colorado Springs for the Pacific Coast League playoffs, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old will try his hand against Triple-A pitching after closing out his time with High-A Carolina with a .296/.384/.480 line in August. It seems likely that Erceg will begin next season at Double-A Biloxi.

Erceg, 22, is hitting .400 with two home runs and 12 RBI over his last 10 games for High-A Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Perhaps most impressively, Erceg has tallied more walks (10) than strikeouts (7) over that span. His slash line now sits at .258/.309/.421 on the season, and Erceg has 15 home runs and 81 RBI in 126 contests. He should begin the 2018 campaign at Double-A, where Erceg will get a true test as to where his future lies.

Erceg, 22, is hitting .239/.283/.368 with six home runs and a 48:14 K:BB in 265 plate appearances at High-A Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
It has been a slow start to the season for Erceg, but he is heating up, hitting .316/.359/.456 with six extra-base hits in 57 June at-bats. His poor luck on balls in play (.272 BABIP) is partially responsible for the mediocre batting line, and his 18.1 percent strikeout rate is excellent for someone with his power potential.

Erceg went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a game with High-A Carolina on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Erceg is getting his first taste of High-A action this season, and he is faring well early on, hitting .302/.327/.434 through 13 games. He is the Brewers' top third base prospect, and as such, will see regular playing time all season.
