Lynn (14-11) took the loss against the Astros on Tuesday, giving up four earned runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one as the Rangers eventually fell 4-1.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn served up three long balls, but luckily they were all solo shots, allowing him to limit the total damage against him to four earned runs and work seven innings for a second straight start. The right-hander continues to be a workhorse starter for the Rangers, sporting a 3.77 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and excellent 224:57 K:BB across 195.2 innings. He lines up to take on the Athletics for his next start in a Sunday road matchup.

Lynn allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over seven innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn left with the Rangers in good shape, leading 3-1, but Rafael Montero served up a two-run home run in the eighth inning, ending the starter's bid for his first win since Aug. 2. He held a share of the MLB lead in wins (11) at the All-Star break, but he's been victimized by poor run support since (2.83 runs per start). Lynn will seek win number 15 at home against Oakland on Sunday.

Lynn (14-10) took the loss Wednesday as the Rangers fell 4-1 to the Yankees, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings while striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Aaron Judge and Gleyber Torres both took the right-hander deep, the first time since July 21 that Lynn has served up multiple homers. He'll carry a 3.81 ERA and 209:53 K:BB through 181.2 innings into his next start Tuesday, at home against the Rays.

Lynn did not factor into the decision during Thursday's loss to the Mariners, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and a pair of walks while striking out five across six innings.
EDGE Analysis
The second inning was no friend to Lynn, who gave up a pair of singles and a walk. Then for the first time in his career, the right-hander hit a batter with the bases loaded, allowing a run to score. Prior to Thursday's game, Lynn had faced just 10 hitters with the bases loaded this season. On the bright side, the 32-year-old reached a new career-high in strikeouts (202). He'll carry a 3.77 ERA and 1.25 WHIP into a tough road matchup with the Yankees on Tuesday.

Lynn (14-9) took the loss Friday as the Rangers were downed 8-3 by the White Sox. He struck out 10 but coughed up seven runs on 11 hits and two walks over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander generated a whopping 24 swinging strikes among his 109 pitches (75 total strikes), but when Chicago did get wood on the ball it found a hole -- the 11 hits Lynn surrendered consisted of seven singles and four doubles. He'll carry a 3.85 ERA and 197:48 K:BB through 170.2 innings into his next start Thursday, at home against the Mariners.

Lynn allowed three runs on four hits and five walks over five frames Sunday, striking out three batters in the loss to the Twins. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Minnesota tagged Lynn with two runs in the first inning on a Marwin Gonzalez double. The 32-year-old has given up just six runs over 24 innings in August, lowering his ERA from 3.83 to 3.60 in the process. However, he's also issued 13 walks during that span. He'll look to get back in the win column in Chicago on Thursday against the White Sox.

Lynn (14-8) allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks while striking out six across five innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn's lone blemish came on a solo home run by Randal Grichuk in the second inning. Otherwise, his only trouble came in the fourth frame when he loaded the bases with one out, but forced a pop out and line out to close the inning. Though Lynn has now lost each of his past two starts, he's surrendered only two earned runs across 12 innings while striking out 14. For the season, he maintains a solid 3.54 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. He'll look to turn in another strong start in his next outing, currently scheduled for Sunday against Minnesota.

Lynn delivered another workhorse performance -- he threw 73 of his 120 pitches for strikes -- but the Rangers mustered only one extra-base hit to saddle him with the loss. The veteran right-hander has given up five runs (three earned) and has a 26:7 K:BB across his last three starts, covering 20 innings. Lynn's next start should come next week in Toronto.

Lynn (13-6) picked up the win Friday after holding the A's to two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Lynn worked himself out of a jam in the first inning after two straight errors by Danny Santana allowed both Marcus Semien and Matt Chapman to reach. Lynn then walked Matt Olson to load the bases, but fanned Matt Canha for the first out. The only damage of the inning came from a sacrifice fly by Ramon Laureano. The final blemish came from an RBI single by Canha in the third. With the win, the right-hander evened his season record against Oakland (1-1) while snapping a two-game losing streak. Lynn has pitched at least six innings in 17 straight starts, tied for third longest in franchise history. The 32-year-old will carry a 3.83 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 160:33 K:BB into a Friday matchup against the Tigers.
