Tucker went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker had been mired in an 0-for-14 slump over his last four games, but he snapped out of it with a strong effort Saturday. The outfielder is still searching for his first home run since July 19, and in 22 contests since then, he's slashing just .187/.344/.213. Tucker may still be bothered by a finger injury sustained June 1, though he has downplayed its impact on his swing.

Tucker went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-1 win over the Cardinals. He also stole a base.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker, who recently downplayed the impact a lingering finger injury has had on his swing, still has just one home run since the All-Star break. However, the talented outfielder was productive Saturday all the same. Tucker's fantasy ceiling is a bit lower if he's not leaving the yard consistently, but he can still deliver in other ways, including on the bases, as he now has 24 stolen bases this season in 26 attempts. His career high is 30 steals, which he recorded back in 2023 with the Astros.

Tucker, who has been hampered by a right ring finger injury sustained June 1, says the finger now feels "fine," Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Tucker downplayed the impact of the injury on his play in recent weeks, his production has taken a dip. In 52 games since jamming his finger on a stolen base attempt, the outfielder is slashing .255/.373/.413 with six home runs. While those aren't bad numbers, they do pale in comparison to the .283/.391/.520 slash line and 12 homers he posted in 58 contests through the end of May. Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer acknowledged the 28-year-old may have developed some bad habits in his swing to compensate for the issue, even if the finger was no longer bothering Tucker. Either way, the outfielder seems determined to play through his aches and pains, and he has enough talent to get back to the elite level he displayed earlier this season.

Tucker is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
With the Reds sending a southpaw (Andrew Abbott) to the mound and the Cubs wrapping up their series versus Cincinnati with a day game after a night game, the left-handed-hitting Tucker will receive what appears to be a routine rest day. Tucker started in each of the Cubs' last 11 contests, slashing .237/.396/.289 with no home runs, no stolen bases, four RBI and four runs over that stretch. Willi Castro will replace Tucker in right field Wednesday.

Tucker went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, a run scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 10-3 win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker is still stuck on just one home run this month, but he looked dynamic in Wednesday's series finale. The outfielder posted only his second multi-hit performance in July and his first multi-RBI game since July 6. Tucker is too talented to not get going at some point, and Wednesday's effort could be the jump start he needs for an extended hot streak.

Tucker went 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker did a little bit of everything in the defeat, and he managed to extend his hitting streak to four games. The outfielder has seen his power decrease in July, as he only has one home run this month through 21 games. Despite the slight dip in production, Tucker remains a dangerous hitter, and he's in a favorable spot to see his counting stats trend upward again as a key piece of a potent Chicago lineup.

Tucker (knee) is batting second and playing right field Friday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker fouled a ball off his right knee Tuesday and sat out Wednesday's contest due to the issue. However, he's back in the starting nine for Friday's series opener. The 28-year-old is slashing .275/.383/.493 in 441 plate appearances this season.

Cubs manager Craig Counsell said that Tucker is "banged up" after fouling a ball off his right knee in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Royals, but he's expected to be back in the lineup Friday versus the White Sox after sitting out Wednesday's series finale versus Kansas City, Zoe Grossman of Marquee Sports Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being slowed by the knee issue, Tucker played a full nine innings in right field Tuesday night, finishing 0-for-2 with a pair of walks, his 23rd stolen base of the season and a run scored. He'll be getting some maintenance for Wednesday's afternoon contest, and his absence from the lineup coupled with a team off day Thursday should provide sufficient healing time for Tucker in advance of the weekend series with the White Sox. Seiya Suzuki will spell Tucker in right field Wednesday.

Tucker is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker will be getting a rare day of rest after he had started every game since June 17. Seiya Suzuki will play right field for the Cubs in the series finale, while Carson Kelly gets a day off from catching but serves as the team's designated hitter.

Tucker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
After Michael Busch started the game for Chicago with his 20th home run of the season, Tucker went deep a batter later, giving him 18 long balls. The talented outfielder had been in a bit of a power slump, as this was his first home run since June 28, and he's batted just .222 with a .632 OPS in 15 games following that last homer. Despite the dip in production, Tucker is still batting .281 overall with a robust .889 OPS, and he's also swiped 22 bases to give him well-rounded fantasy value.
