Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Kyle Ryan earned his first save of the season in Saturday's victory versus the Washington Nationals. Ryan was called upon to close it out for the Cubs with closer Craig Kimbrel being dealt at the trade deadline to the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Kyle Ryan has been absent from the team's camp due to a process-based testing delay. It sounds as though he should join up with the team at Wrigley Field sooner than later. The lefty latched onto a role with the Club last season and was successful with a 3.54 ERA in 61 innings. Ryan doesnt offer much upside in leagues without holds and can be left on the waiver wire for now.
