Lewis went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 10-7 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Lewis has undoubtedly been Seattle's best player in the first week of action, as he has hit safely in every single game while posting multi-hit efforts in each of his last four contests. As a result, he is slashing a robust .458/.519/.708 in his first 27 plate appearances.

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a go-ahead two-run single, a double, a walk and a run in a win over the Astros on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After belting a home run in each of the first two games of the series, Lewis got to the Astros with a "smaller-ball" approach that saw him reach on multiple occasions for the second time in as many games. The surging outfielder's eighth-inning single did plenty of damage, as it brought home Austin Nola and Shed Long to snap a 5-5 tie and give the Mariners a lead that would prove to be just enough. Factoring in Sunday's production, Lewis is now 4-for-11 with the aforementioned pair of round trippers, four RBI, two walks and three runs over his first three games, although he's also struck out on six of the seven occasions in which he's made an out.

Lewis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Lewis went yard in the sixth inning against Astros starter Lance McCullers. The 25-year-old Lewis has homered in both of the Mariners' games this season -- the only problem has been a lack of runners on base when he has done so. The outfielder has also amassed four strikeouts already, which could make him a boom-or-bust option in fantasy.

Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Batting cleanup, Lewis belted a long ball off of Astros ace Justin Verlander in the second inning. In 18 games last season, Lewis hit .268/.293/.592 with six homers, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored through 75 plate appearances. With a lack of natural outfielders on the Mariners' roster, the 24-year-old Lewis should find regular playing time in 2020.

Lewis hit two home runs during Friday's six-inning intrasquad game at T-Mobile Park, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The pair of blasts added to the already strong impression Lewis already has made during the first week of summer camp. The outfielder's first homer of the day, a solo shot, came off rookie Justin Dunn and caromed high off the out-of-town scoreboard in left-center field, while the second was an opposite-field bomb off Nick Margevicius. Justus Sheffield, who drew the start for Lewis' team and pitched two scoreless innings, was the latest to extol the virtues of the 24-year-old. "The dude is locked in right now," Sheffield said. "On and off the field. I feel like he's going to have a really big year for us. He's always had the talent, and he's really starting to put it together. Hopefully, he can keep it going through this summer camp and push it through the season."

Lewis is a candidate to shift over to center field on occasion early in the season if Mallex Smith's (undisclosed) current absence prolongs, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. "I love what Kyle Lewis has done since he's been here, on both sides of the ball," general manager Jerry Dipoto said. "I think he looks tremendous running around in the outfield and is giving us every opportunity to put him out there in center field on occasion, if not more than occasionally, and see what the future holds for him."
EDGE Analysis
Lewis worked diligently during the three-month-plus shutdown, particularly on his speed, which he's been flashing since summer camp began. The promising outfielder is currently projected to serve as the everyday right fielder, but he logged 111 games at center in the minors and certainly appears to have the agility to man the position effectively.

Lewis particularly impressed manager Scott Servais during the Mariners' second day of summer camp workouts Saturday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Servais singled out Lewis when speaking about how essentially everyone on the roster came into summer camp in good shape. The young outfielder, who's set to take on an everyday role this season, attributed his current level of fitness to the fact he was able to maintain a full routine during the shutdown while housed in Atlanta. "I was able to work with my speed coach and my weight coach in private sessions," Lewis said. "Then my hitting coach from my high school days, who has been my hitting coach throughout, I was able to go to the high school and do private sessions too and be able to keep good distance with all that and still get all my work in."

Lewis, who has remained in the Arizona area while spring training has been suspended, is likely to be present at the Mariners' spring training facility in Peoria when it reopens with limited access early this week, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mariners are among many teams that will begin welcoming staggered groups of players back over the next several days for informal workouts at either their home or spring training complexes. Lewis' ongoing presence in the area makes him a natural candidate to join other teammates such as Evan White, Jake Fraley and J.P. Crawford, and with multiple practice fields and workout areas, the Peoria complex should afford the necessary space for proper social distancing procedures to be followed.

Lewis projects as the everyday right fielder this coming regular season despite having hit just .172 (5-for-29) over 11 Cactus League games before spring training was suspended, Brent Stecker of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stecker notes that general manager Jerry Dipoto identifies the slugger's occasional "empty swings" as a byproduct of an opposite-field approach to hitting which requires Lewis to often allow the ball to go deeper into the zone than a pull hitter does. The Mariners are willing to accept such a tradeoff so long as Lewis is able to generate a similar caliber of long-ball production to that of his first big-league cup of coffee in 2019. Following his September promotion, the 24-year-old became the second player in MLB history to homer in each of his first three games and ultimately left the yard once every 12.5 plate appearances across 18 contests overall. Signs of his prodigious power were evident once again this spring despite the overall lack of success, as three of Lewis' five hits during Cactus League play were home runs.

Lewis went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a Cactus League win over the Dodgers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The seventh-inning blast was the second homer of spring for Lewis, who's still hitting just .143 across eight Cactus League games. In fact, Lewis hasn't hit safely over his 16 exhibition plate appearance outside of the pair of round trippers, but he's still on track to open the regular season as the starting right fielder.
