Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kevin Gausman did not have his best stuff on Thursday night. Gausman gave up a whopping 12 hits in just five innings, also allowing five runs with just two strikeouts. His ERA now stands at a disappointing 4.33, and while he has arguably been the Orioles best pitcher, that's not saying much for one of the worst teams in recent baseball history. Unless it's a favorable matchup, try to avoid starting Gausman.

Gausman's outing marked the third consecutive start in which he's allowed three or fewer earned runs. Gausman's final start before the All-Star break will come on Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies.

This was Gausman's fourth straight start of allowing two or fewer runs. The 27-year-old is now 4-6 with a 4.05 ERA in 102 1/3 IP. He will look to continue his string of good starts Saturday against the Twins.
