Maeda (4-0) allowed one run on five hits and a walk across five innings Monday, striking out seven and earning the win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing a leadoff homer to Cesar Hernandez in the first innings, Maeda silenced Cleveland's lineup and dominated for the rest of his outing. In all five of his starts this season, he's thrown at least five innings and given up three or fewer runs. After Monday's strong performance, Maeda is sporting a stellar 2.21 ERA and 40:7 K:BB. He'll look to move to a perfect 5-0 in a road start against Detroit on Saturday.

Maeda will next start Monday in Cleveland rather than Sunday in Kansas City as previously scheduled, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maeda will get an extra day to rest after carrying a no-hitter into the ninth inning Tuesday against the Brewers and throwing 115 pitches. He'll lose out on a potential two-start week this week but will likely get one next week, as he'll line up to start both Monday in Cleveland and Saturday in Detroit. The Twins haven't announced who will start Sunday in his previously scheduled spot.

Maeda pitched eight innings against Milwaukee on Tuesday, allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out 12. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Maeda carried a no-hit bid into the ninth inning, only to have Eric Sogard spoil the effort with a leadoff single. Worse yet, Maeda ended up with a no-decision in spite of his masterful performance when the Minnesota bullpen failed to preserve a three-run lead following the right-hander's departure. Nonetheless, Maeda continued an already-strong start to his tenure with the Twins, notching a season-high 12 strikeouts while registering his fourth consecutive quality start. As evidence of his dominance, he induced 26 swinging strikes and didn't allow a runner to get past first base in his eight frames. The 32-year-old lowered his ERA to 2.27 on the campaign and now sports a 33:6 K:BB across 31.2 innings. His next start will come on the road against Kansas City on Thursday.

Maeda (3-0) earned the win Wednesday versus the Brewers, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk and striking out five in 6.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Maeda got 12 runs of support from the Twins, making it easy for him to collect his third win in four starts. The right-hander has a 2.66 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 21 strikeouts across 23.2 innings this season. Maeda is expected to make his next start Monday versus the Royals.

Maeda allowed three earned runs on on three hits and one walk while striking out four across six innings Thursday against the Pirates. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Maeda didn't allow a baserunner in four of the six innings he pitched and dominated the Pirates for most of the outing. However, he ran into trouble in the second inning when he allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base hit before allowing a three-run home run to Gregory Polanco. Maeda's otherwise strong performance was a continuation of earlier outings this season, and he now has a 2.65 ERA with a 16:3 K:BB in 17 innings. He's currently in line to draw his next start Tuesday at Milwaukee.

Maeda (2-0) picked up the win in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Cleveland, giving up just one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old has looked very, very good to begin his tenure with the Twins, posting a 1.64 ERA and 12:1 K:BB over his first two starts and 11 innings for the club. Maeda will take aim at his third straight win when he takes the mound next Friday in Kansas City.

Maeda (1-0) tossed five innings Sunday, earning the win while allowing two runs against the White Sox. He struck out six batters and walked one.
EDGE Analysis
Maeda cruised through four scoreless innings before Luis Robert took him deep in the fifth to finally put the White Sox on the board. The 32-year-old righty will be relied on heavily as a middle-of-the-rotation arm this season with the Twins. Expect Maeda to take the mound at home next weekend against Cleveland.

Maeda gave up three runs over five innings with seven strikeouts and threw 85 pitches in Monday's scrimmage, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maeda looks ready for the regular season and may not be limited in his first few outings. The 31-year-old was moved to the bullpen multiple times in the last couple years given the Dodgers' plethora of starting options, but he should have a solidified spot in the Twins' starting rotation in 2020.

Maeda gave up a run, on a home run, with a strikeout over two innings in his Twins debut in Saturday's spring training win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Minnesota has said that Maeda will be part of the starting rotation and there's no indication he may be used in the bullpen at times like he was with the Dodgers. He moved to the bullpen in September each of the last two seasons in Los Angeles. His 26.4 K% and 8.3 BB% as a starter should help make Maeda an above-average starter with the Twins.

The Dodgers agreed to a deal Sunday that sends Maeda and cash to the Twins in return for Brusdar Graterol, Luke Raley and the 67th pick in the 2020 draft, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following the drama between the Red Sox and Twins involving Graterol's medical history, it was uncertain whether the 31-year-old would find a new home before spring training arrived. Maeda finished the 2019 season with a 4.04 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 169:51 K:BB across 26 starts. The veteran makes the move to another playoff contender and will likely compete for a spot near the top of the Twins' rotation during spring training.
