Marks was designated for assignment Thursday, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander had amassed 10 innings in the organization prior to being cast off the 40-man roster. In that time, he didn't pitch horribly, although the 11 hits and four walks he surrendered at Triple-A apparently were troubling enough to force the Dodgers to hand his roster spot off to Fabio Castillo, who had his contract selected in a corresponding move. Marks will likely continue to act as organizational depth unless he's plucked off waivers by another team.

Marks was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw was designated for assignment by the Rays on May 6, but he caught the Dodgers eye as members of their pitching corps continues to get injured. Marks will head to Triple-A Oklahoma City first, but if more of Los Angeles' hurlers get bitten by the injury bug, Marks could find his way back to the big leagues.

Marks was designated for assignment on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marks was only called up Friday, but now serves as the roster casualty with Erasmo Ramirez returning from paternity leave. The left-hander will go through a waiver period, but may very well end up back in the minors with Triple-A Durham, where he has a 4.60 ERA over nine appearances.

Marks was recalled by the Rays from Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marks will assume the roster spot of Chih-Wei Hu, who was sent down in a corresponding move. The 29-year-old left-hander has pitched decently for Triple-A Durham this season, posting a 4.60 and 3.89 FIP across 15.2 innings. He'll look to provide the Rays with some left-handed pitching depth for the time being.

Marks was reassigned to minor league camp Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marks made a strong case for a roster spot, tossing 11.2 scoreless innings with an 8:1 K:BB during Grapefruit League play, but the Rays ultimately decided to hold off on adding him to the 40-man roster. Manager Kevin Cash said last week that he believes the lefty will contribute at the major league level at some point this season.

Marks (1-0) pitched three perfect innings in Sunday's 8-0 Grapefruit League win over the Phillies, striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Marks now has 10 scoreless innings to his name this spring, and is currently a candidate for either a rotation or bullpen spot. The 29-year-old southpaw had an extensive minor league career with the Royals and turned in a quality season at Triple-A Durham for the Rays in 2016 despite a 7-11 record. He acquitted himself well over his nine-inning major league stint with Tampa as well, generating a 1.00 ERA although showing some control issues. His work this spring and his brief stint last year both have made a positive impression on manager Kevin Cash. "He's kind of in that (Chase) Whitley category where he's shown the ability to do both, start or relieve,'' Cash said. "He's going to help us. I don't when, Opening Day, throughout the season, but he's going to help us just with the way we saw him last year, came up, didn't seem bothered by too much."

Marks, who struck out two and gave up one hit over one inning in Sunday's 5-3 Grapefruit League win over the Blue Jays, is making a push for a bullpen spot this spring, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old southpaw has quietly been impressive, firing 3.2 scoreless innings over three appearances and striking out four over that span. With Xavier Cedeno as the only viable lefty option out of the bullpen at present, Marks could certainly make a strong case for himself if he remains effective. Although he notably had control issues in his cup of coffee with the big league club last season, he impressed overall, giving up only one earned run on seven hits and nine walks over nine innings across four appearances.

Marks was outrighted to Triple-A Durham on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marks pitched well in his two appearances out of the major league bullpen this season, but the Rays decided it was time to send the career minor-leaguer off the 40-man roster following an up-and-down season at Triple-A. The left-hander will likely act as an organizational depth piece moving forward.

Marks was utilized in long relief once again against the Yankees on Wednesday, giving up an earned run on four hits and a walk over three innings. He also recorded a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old southpaw, who made his 2016 debut back on Sep. 9 against this same Yankees squad, was impressive once again in extended action. Marks fired 46 pitches overall, getting 30 into the strike zone. After an up-and-down season at Triple-A Durham that included a losing record but a no-hitter as well, Marks has generated a solid 1.50 ERA over his six innings with the big league club.
