Bour (ankle) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bour missed the past two games due to what is being dubbed as a left ankle contusion, and it seems like the Marlins want to have him sit out 10 days now rather than let the issue get worse by trying to play him through the pain. The move is backdated to June 5, so the first game he could play in is June 16 against the Braves. Tomas Telis was summoned from Triple-A to replace him on the roster, although Tyler Moore will likely pick up most of the starts at first base in his stead.

Bour has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left ankle after undergoing an MRI on Monday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bour is considered day-to-day for now, but a bone bruise could be a serious enough injury to warrant a stay on the 10-day disabled list. The Marlins will have to weigh their options soon, as they don't have another day off for a week, and they may not want to use a roster spot on an injured Bour.

Bour had a precautionary MRI on his injured left ankle Monday in Chicago, Tim Healey of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The results are not yet back, and Bour is out of the lineup for the second straight game Monday, although he did appear as a pinch hitter in Sunday's game. Last year he missed two months with a right ankle injury, but this time it's his left ankle that is giving him trouble. Tyler Moore is getting the start at first base and hitting seventh in his place.

Bour is not in the lineup Monday against the Cubs, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the second consecutive game Bour will watch from the bench. It's unclear why he's being held out a second time considering how hot he's been at the plate (1.337 OPS over his past seven games), but he'll give way for Tyler Moore to make another start at first base Monday evening.

Bour is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Bour has been one of the hottest hitters in all of baseball over the past several weeks, raising his average from .222 to .296 since the beginning of May. He will head to the bench Sunday for a day of rest with Tyler Moore drawing the start at first base in his absence.

EDGE Analysis

Bour went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer Friday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Bour blasted his 16th bomb of the year to give the Marlins a four-run lead in the first inning of a home victory. He's easily posting the best slugging percentage of his career, which is currently at .589, and he's proving to be an excellent draft day bargain.

Bour went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Wednesday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
After going a whole four games without homering, Bour finished up a huge month in impressive fashion with his 14th and 15th blasts of the year -- 11 of which came in May. He's already matched last year's home run total in 39 fewer games, and the first baseman seems headed directly for a career season.

Bour went 2-for-2 with two walks, a double and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
His outstanding May continues, and Bour now has a .341/.429/.681 slash line on the month with nine homers, 18 RBI and 16 runs -- and one day to go. The first baseman's current .919 OPS would be the highest of his career if he can keep it up.

Bour went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
The sixth-inning blast was his 13th homer of the season, keeping Bour one ahead of Giancarlo Stanton for the team lead. The first baseman is as hot as any hitter in the league right now, popping five of those home runs in his last seven games while compiling a .414/.433/.966 slash line.
