Profar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
It looked like San Diego's offense could be in for a big day when Profar led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo shot off Nick Lodolo, but that turned out to be the only hit for the team until the ninth frame. The long ball extended Profar's hitting streak to six games, and he's batted .364 (8-for-22) with a pair of homers, four RBI and six runs during that stretch. Profar has served as San Diego's leadoff man each of the past two contests, and he could stick there for a while if he continues to hit well. Through 122 plate appearances, Profar is slashing .301/.402/.485 with four homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs and a stolen base.

Profar went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
A day after being singled out by Dodgers catcher Will Smith for being irrelevant, Profar showed his relevancy by roping a bases-loaded double off the wall in center field to put the Padres up 6-3 in the seventh. Profar has now hit safely in 10 of 11 games dating back to April 2. Overall, he's slashing .321/.424/.536 with two homers, 13 RBI, seven runs and a 9:12 BB:K in 66 plate appearances.

Profar (ankle) went 0-for-2 with a walk while playing six innings in left field Sunday in the Padres' 1-0 win over Team Korea in an exhibition game in Seoul, South Korea.
EDGE Analysis
Profar was able to make the trip with the Padres to South Korea after he sustained a minor right ankle sprain in the Padres' most recent Cactus League game Wednesday. After getting a few days off to rest, Profar looked to be fine in his return to action Sunday, setting the stage for him to be included in the Opening Day lineup when the Padres and Dodgers open their regular seasons Wednesday in Seoul.

Profar traveled with San Diego on the team's trip to Korea despite dealing with a sprained right ankle, per MLB.com.
EDGE Analysis
Profar was injured in the Padres' final Cactus League game Wednesday when he pulled up while rounding first base. Manager Mike Shildt indicated after the contest that Profar suffered a mild right ankle sprain but that doctors believed he would be "just fine." Shildt also said that the veteran outfielder would make the trip to Korea for San Diego's season-opening two game set versus the Dodgers, though it remains to be seen if he'll be ready to play by the first contest Wednesday. Profar is slated to open the campaign as the Padres' starting left fielder, but if he's unable to play right away, Jose Azocar could step in as his replacement.

Profar was removed from Wednesday's Cactus League against the Athletics with an apparent leg injury, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Profar suffered the injury while rounding first base, and he subsequently limped off the field. It's poor timing for the Padres, which are finishing up their Cactus League slate ahead of the season-opening series in South Korea versus the Dodgers next week. It remains to be seen if the 31-year-old's availability for that series will be affected by the injury.
