Juan Castro has announced his retirement. Castro will remain in the Dodgers organization, joining the front office as a special assistant. The 38-year-old played 17 major league seasons, which is quite an accomplishment given that he finishes with a career batting line of .229/.269/.327 and just 36 home runs over 1,103 games.
