The White Sox released Rojas on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Rojas was booted off Chicago's 40-man roster last week and shortly after that was officially cut loose. The versatile Rojas has slashed just .180/.252/.259 in 211 plate appearances this season, but he could get a look from an organization in need of an experienced utility player.

The White Sox designated Rojas for assignment Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Rojas hasn't logged an at-bat since Aug. 10 as the White Sox have opted to give younger players more action in the final stretch of the regular season. The 31-year-old utility player didn't give the team much of a boost at the plate, slashing .180/.252/.259 with two home runs and four stolen bases in 211 plate appearances. Should he go unclaimed, Rojas will have the option of electing free agency or remaining within the White Sox organization. Korey Lee was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox have two openings in the infield after Chase Meidroth (thumb) joined Miguel Vargas (oblique) on the injured list Thursday, but Rojas may not be in line to take on a regular role while the two players are on the shelf. After a stretch of five consecutive starts, the left-handed-hitting Rojas now finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row against a right-handed starting pitcher (Logan Gilbert). Chicago will go with Lenyn Sosa at second base and Brooks Baldwin at third base in the series finale.

Rojas isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Rojas will get a breather after beginning the month 2-for-12 with a home run and two walks through four games. Brooks Baldwin will start at the hot corner instead and bat ninth.

Rojas will start at second base and will bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
He will cover second base Sunday while Chase Meidroth (thumb) is on the bench for the third game in a row, but Rojas could be in store for regular playing time at third base once Meidroth rejoins the lineup. Rojas had started in each of the previous three contests, going 2-for-10 with a solo home run, a double and a walk.

Rojas went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Friday's 6-3 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Rojas added a big insurance run to the White Sox's tally in the top of the ninth inning. That brings his total up to just two on the season -- an entirely forgettable campaign so far. The infielder is slashing a mere .176/.246/.261 on the season, with his .508 OPS being on pace to be the worst mark of his career in a season in which he's played at least 60 games.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
The left-handed-hitting Rojas had been excluded from the lineup in three of the past four games while the White Sox faced three lefty starters, but he'll be on the bench Monday against a righty (Shane Baz). For the season, Rojas is batting just .177/.243/.244 with one home run and four stolen bases in 182 plate appearances. Given his poor production along with the fact that he's on an expiring contract, Rojas could be at risk of moving into a bench role -- or potentially getting cut -- if the White Sox aren't able to find a taker for him prior to the July 31 trade deadline.

Rojas is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Rojas has a .461 OPS through 11 games in July and will sit for the second time in Chicago's first three contests of the second half. Colson Montgomery will shift to the hot corner while Chase Meidroth starts at shortstop and Lenyn Sosa mans second base.

Rojas isn't part of the starting lineup for the first game of Friday's doubleheader against the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
Rojas will dodge a same-handed matchup against southpaw Logan Allen in Friday's matinee. Instead, Miguel Vargas will slot in at third base while Tim Elko plays first base.

Rojas went 1-for-2 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the White Sox's infield getting more crowded with the addition of Colson Montgomery, Rojas continues to play nearly every day. He tallied his first home run of the season in the sixth inning Tuesday and now has one hit in four of his last five starts. While that's a very limited positive sample, Rojas is hitting a disastrous .184/.256/.250 across 169 plate appearances for the season.
