Hader allowed an earned run but struck out two to earn the save Tuesday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Hader entered the game with one out in the ninth after Junior Guerra surrendered a run-scoring double. He served up a two-run homer to Ian Desmond but recovered to earn the save by striking out Mark Reynolds to record the final out. Despite some recent struggles -- he's allowed six earned runs across his last six innings -- Hader remains the Brewers primary closer and isn't in any danger of losing chances.

Hader recorded his sixth save of the season in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Mets, striking out five batters in two perfect innings.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw had uncharacteristically served up homers in three straight appearances prior to Saturday, but Hader was back in dominant form in this one. The recent hiccups have led to a 3.21 ERA, but his 29:4 K:BB through 14 innings indicates there's little to worry about with the Brewers' relief ace.

Hader (0-1) took the loss Friday as the Brewers fell 5-3 to the Dodgers, walking two batters before serving up a three-run home run to Enrique Hernandez in an inning of work. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The relief ace entered the game in the seventh inning with the bases loaded and two outs and struck out Cody Bellinger to escape the jam, but Hader then created his own mess in the eighth. He's struck out multiple batters in seven of his eight appearances, leading to a dominant 21:4 K:BB in 11 innings, but this outing ballooned his ERA to 3.27.

Hader allowed his first run of the season in a non-save situation in Monday's victory over the Cardinals, but he still recorded the final three outs of the contest and struck out three batters.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell did not want to take any chances heading into the ninth inning with a four-run lead, so he brought in Hader even though a save was not on the line, and Hader was able to lock up the win. While Hader no longer owns only zeroes in the ERA column, his 0.90 ERA through 10 innings is not shabby, nor is his 0.60 WHIP or 18:2 K:BB. Hader has mainly been used as the closer through the season's first couple weeks, but his role could change some in the near future once Jeremy Jeffress (shoulder) -- scheduled to be activated Tuesday, but likely opening in lower-leverage spots -- is back in the late-inning mix.

Hader is unavailable for Monday's game against the Angels after throwing 2.2 innings Sunday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
This update from skipper Craig Counsell is unsurprising, as it took Hader 36 pitches to retire the final eight batters in Sunday's series finale against the Cubs. He could be down for the next few days, but Counsell neglected to reveal when his star reliever might be available to pitch again. Hader has slotted into the closer's role for Milwaukee in the early going, so with the left-hander out of the mix Monday, it remains to be seen who Counsell will roll with in a save situation. Alex Wilson is the only reliever who's gotten a chance to slam the door in 2019, outside of Hader.

Hader gave up no hits and struck out three in 2.2 innings to record his fifth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Entering the game with one out in the seventh inning, Hader celebrated his birthday by giving up no runs and no hits over the next 2.2 innings to nail down his fifth save. The left-hander has not allowed a run and has a 13:1 K:BB ratio this season.

Hader picked up the save with a scoreless inning on Tuesday as the Brewers defeated the Reds 4-3, permitting just one walk and no hits while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Hader allowed a leadoff walk to Jose Iglesias, but he retired the next three batters to nail down the save for Milwaukee. The 24-year old is now 4-for-4 in save chances and has a 10:1 K:BB this season.

Hader gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Monday to record his third save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The dominant southpaw now has an 8:0 K:BB through his first four innings of the season, while Monday's hit -- a Curt Casali double -- was the first baserunner he's allowed. Barring the addition of someone like Craig Kimbrel, Hader has the closer job in Milwaukee locked down.

Hader struck out the side in his lone inning of work Saturday to record his second save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Nine fastballs, nine strikes, and Hader was done for the night, recording the first immaculate inning of 2019 -- a feat accomplished four times last year by the likes of Max Scherzer and German Marquez. The Brewers may prefer to use Hader in a high-leverage role rather than locked into the ninth inning as the closer, but now that he has the role to himself, he might never let it go.

Hader struck out four across two perfect innings to pick up the save in Thursday's season opener against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Hader faced the minimum through two innings and managed to survive a scare with the help of Lorenzo Cain, who robbed what would've been a game-tying home run for the final out of the ballgame. Hader picked up right where he left off last season in the strikeout department and figures to see plenty of save opportunities with Corey Knebel (elbow) out of commission for the foreseeable future.
