Hader gave up two runs on one hit and one walk while striking out two through one inning to record his 33rd save in a 7-6 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After getting a groundout to start the inning, a walk and a two-run home run put Hader on the ropes, but he quickly recovered to strike out the next two hitters to nail down his 33rd save. The left-hander has a 2.70 ERA with 129 strikeouts through 56 appearances this season.

Hader recorded his 32nd save of the season Saturday against St. Louis, striking out one in a clean ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Hader now has the exact same number of appearances as he did last season (55), though he's thrown 12 fewer innings. His 2.48 ERA is a near match for last season's 2.43 mark, while he's somehow managed to improve upon his 46.7 percent strikeout rate from 2018, striking out 48.7 percent of opposing batters this year.

Hader pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts to nail down a 3-2 victory and record his 31st save against the Marlins on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
After throwing his first pitch for a ball, Hader pounded the zone with his next 10 pitches and retired the side in 11 throws. Hader has been a strikeout machine lately, posting 20 punchouts in his last 10.1 innings. In addition to all the strikeouts, since blowing a save on Aug. 17, Hader has thrown 11.1 straight scoreless frames. Overall, he is 3-5 with 31 saves, 2.51 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 126 strikeouts in 68 innings this season.

Hader had three strikeouts and gave up one hit during a scoreless ninth inning to record the save Wednesday at Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Hader gave up a weak two-out single but still only needed 15 pitches to get his three strikeouts. The left-hander has been on an impressive run of late, with an 18:1 K:BB and only three hits allowed in his last eight outings (10.1 innings).

Hader struck out the only two batters he faced Sunday, earning the save over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Hader has been on fire lately, posting a 15:1 K:BB over 9.1 scoreless frames since Aug. 25, lowering his ERA from 3.02 to 2.59 during that span. He's now 29-for-35 in save opportunities on the year despite his struggles in July and August.

Hader (3-5) had four strikeouts and gave up zero hits or walks in two scoreless innings Saturday to earn the win against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Haded entered with the bases loaded and nobody out during the eighth inning and surrendered the lead with a walk, but he then escaped, delivered a scoreless ninth inning and grabbed the victory as the Brewers rallied for the walkoff. The 25-year-old had his share of struggles in mid-August, but he's now delivered six straight scoreless outings (8.2 innings) with 13 strikeouts and one walk.

Hader struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 28th save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw has found his form at the right time for Milwaukee. Hader has reeled off five straight scoreless appearances, fanning multiple batters in the last four, and he now sports a 2.70 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 115:17 K:BB through 63.1 innings on the year. The Brewers now sit four games back of the second NL wild-card spot, with two other teams between then and the Cubs, so Hader will need to stay dominant down the stretch if they're going to see action in October.

Hader retired all five batters he faced in Saturday's game against the Cubs -- two via strikeout -- to earn his 27th save of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell called upon Hader in the eighth inning with Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez due up for Chicago in a 2-0 game. Hader retired Rizzo and Baez on four total pitches and then breezed through the ninth on eight pitches. The lefty seems to be getting on track after four blown saves in his first five chances of August, as he's now turned in three straight scoreless appearances with two hits allowed and a 5:0 K:BB during that span.

Hader pitched a scoreless eighth and ninth while allowing only one run and posting three strikeouts during a save against the Cardinals on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This was Hader's first save since Aug. 5, breaking a streak of three blown opportunities. The Brewers need all the wins they can get inside the NL Central division, so manager Craig Counsell was very aggressive, turning to his closer in the eighth with a three-run lead. Owners should expect more unusual usage for Hader, as the Brewers try to close the gap between themselves and both the Cardinals and Cubs. Hader is 2-5 with 26 saves, a 2.87 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 109 strikeouts in 59.2 innings this season.

Hader threw a scoreless ninth inning in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers trailed 5-2 when Hader entered Sunday's game, but because he had not taken the mound in eight days, manager Craig Counsell decided to give him some work despite the score. It's been a rough month for Hader, who has blown four saves in August and had allowed at least one earned run in five straight outings prior to Sunday's, but he should be plenty rested now, at least. Hader threw just 14 pitches Sunday, so he will presumably be available Monday if the Brewers find themselves in a save situation.
