Orioles re-signed INF Josh Barfield to a minor league contract. Barfield was just released by the Orioles last month after appearing in four games with Triple-A Norfolk. The 29-year-old has been assigned to Double-A Bowie.

Orioles released INF Josh Barfield. Barfield's release makes room on the Triple-A Norfolk roster for the recently-demoted Jason Berken. Barfield hasn't appeared in the majors since 2009. He'll look to sign on elsewhere as organizational depth.
