EDGE Analysis
A throwing error by Ernie Clement extended the first inning for the O's and helped lead to three runs, and Berrios wound up leaving the mound after 73 pitches (49 strikes) when Jordan Westburg took him deep for a two-run shot in the fifth. It's the third time in his last six starts that Berrios has failed to last five innings, a stretch in which he's stumbled to a 5.83 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 22:7 K:BB over 29.1 innings. He'll try to get back on track in his next outing, which lines up to come on the road early next week in Colorado.

Berrios (6-4) earned the win Sunday over the Giants, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Berrios was solid early, holding San Francisco to one run through his first four innings, though he'd allow another three runs in his final 1.2 frames, capped by a Matt Chapman two-run homer with two outs in the sixth. Despite the rocky finish, Berrios eventually came away with the win, his fourth in his last six outings. The right-hander sports a 3.87 ERA through 21 starts (121 innings) this season with a 1.26 WHIP and 102:42 K:BB. Berrios is currently lined up to face the Tigers on the road his next time out.

EDGE Analysis
Berrios was done in by a pair of two-run shots via Austin Wynns and Tyler Soderstrom in the second and third innings, respectively. Berrios was 3-0 with a 2.52 ERA over his previous four outings since his last loss June 15. It was his shortest start of the 2025 campaign, and he generated only three whiffs, his second-fewest in any outing this year. Berrios will enter the All-Star break with a 3.75 ERA and a 97:41 K:BB across 115.1 innings this season. He's allowed fewer than two runs in six of his last nine starts but gave up a combined 16 runs in the other three.

Berrios (5-3) earned the win Monday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over six innings against the White Sox. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Berrios was effective Monday, limiting baserunners and working efficiently despite not recording many strikeouts, needing just 76 pitches to get through his outing. The right-hander has been boom-or-bust lately, allowing six earned runs in two of his past eight starts but one or fewer in the other six, resulting in a 2.61 ERA and 1.01 WHIP across 48.1 innings during that span. On the season, the 31-year-old holds a 3.53 ERA and 1.21 WHIP over 112.1 innings in 19 starts.

Berrios did not factor into the decision in Wednesdays 11-9 win over the Yankees, allowing six runs on nine hits and no walks with three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Berrios was cruising with an 8-0 lead through four innings before surrendering six runs and failing to escape the fifth. It was just the second time in 18 starts the 31-year-old hasn't completed at least five frames, though he's now allowed six earned runs in a game three times this season. He'll carry a 3.64 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 92:37 K:BB across 106.1 innings into a favorable matchup with the White Sox next week.

Berrios (4-3) earned the win Friday against the Red Sox, giving up no runs on four hits and one walk in seven innings. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Berrios fanned at least eight Friday for the first time since May 29, and he's now up to 11 quality starts on the campaign. Seven of those efforts have come in his last eight outings, during which the veteran right-hander boasts a 2.16 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 40:13 K:BB across these last 50 frames. Up next for Berrios is a scheduled home matchup versus a dangerous Yankees lineup.

Berrios (3-3) earned the win against the White Sox on Saturday, allowing one unearned run on two hits and three walks while striking out five across 7.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Berrios gave up two baserunners in the first inning, but he settled in to retire 14 of the next 15 batters he faced. He was efficient from the mound, needing just 98 pitches (58 strikes) to work into the eighth inning, which was sorely needed after the Blue Jays' bullpen game Friday. It was the longest outing of the season for Berrios and a nice bounce back from his last outing against the Phillies this past Sunday, when he yielded six runs across 4.2 innings. He's slated to make his next start on the road at Fenway Park against the Red Sox next weekend.

Berrios tossed 6.2 scoreless innings in a no-decision against St. Louis on Monday, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out one batter.
EDGE Analysis
Berrios notched just five whiffs and one punchout, but he didn't need to miss bats to be effective. The right-hander recorded his fifth straight quality start, though he has just one victory during that stretch. Berrios has been particularly effective across his past three outings, giving up just one run over 18.2 frames while posting a 15:6 K:BB. He had an uneven beginning to the campaign, but Berrios has brought his ERA down to a solid 3.38 with a 1.25 WHIP through 82.2 innings on the season.
