Yankees GM Brian Cashman wouldn't rule out J.R. Murphy being called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season. With Francisco Cervelli sidelined, the Yankees have struggled to get offensive production from Chris Stewart and Austin Romine, so Murphy could eventually be an option at the major league level. "I've been open to anything that makes sense, but the market is completely barren," Cashman said. "If you're looking at a catcher, then probably a guy we'll focus on is J.R. Murphy more than anybody else. I'm not saying we'd do anything, but if you're looking at alternatives, that's the most realistic one we got."
