Joey Votto homered in a third straight game against the Mets on Thursday. Votto also had an RBI double in the contest before taking Jason Isringhausen deep in the ninth. He got off to a slow start after the All-Star Game, but he's obviously found his stroke now.

Joey Votto went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday night. It was Votto's 14th home run of the season and his first since July 8. While he's not hitting for as much power as he did last season, the 27-year-old still owns a very healthy .316/.426/.493 batting line to go along with a .920 OPS and 62 RBI.

Votto hit a three-run blast to right-center in the third inning and a two-run shot to nearly the same spot in the fifth. The defending National League MVP is finally beginning to flash big power numbers and is plenty capable of keeping it going through the end of the season. He has 11 home runs and 49 total RBI.
