Votto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
It's only his 12th homer of the year, but three of them have come in his last five games, pushing Votto's slash line in September up to .293/.423/.561. The veteran first baseman has had a rough, injury-plagued season overall, but he remains a fantasy force in OBP leagues, drawing more than 100 walks for the fourth straight campaign.

Votto went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a walk and a run scored Monday in the win over Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Votto put the Reds on the board in the first inning, driving in a pair of runs on a double to right field. The 35-year-old is slashing .282/.421/.422 through 130 ballgames in what has turned out to be a disappointing 2018 campaign.

Votto went 1-for-2 with a walk and a grand slam in Saturday's win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Votto capped a seven-run second inning from the Reds with his two-out grand slam off Robbie Erlin. The homer was his first since July 9 and just his 10th of the season after he knocked 36 in 2017. He's now hitting .283/.421/.416 through 128 games this season.

Votto went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Saturday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Votto doubled home a run in the fourth inning, his 25th double and 56th RBI of the season. He's played in all three games since returning from the disabled list on August 30 and has gone 3-for-12 with only one extra-base hit. It's been a disappointing campaign for Votto, marred by injury and lack of power production.

Votto (lower leg) was activated from the 10-day DL and will bat third in Thursday's lineup versus Milwaukee, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Votto will be back at first base and hitting in his typical spot in the order after missing the past 12 games due to a right lower-leg contusion. Across 118 contests this year, Votto is hitting .284/.422/.419 with nine home runs and 55 RBI. The Reds have yet to make a corresponding move.

Votto (lower leg) has not been activated from the disabled list ahead of Wednesday's game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There was a chance Votto would return to the lineup Wednesday after participating in an early-morning workout, but it looks like he will need at least another day before rejoining the active roster. With the Reds out of playoff contention, the club will continue to be cautious with their star first baseman.

Votto (lower leg) is expected to complete a workout early Wednesday before the Reds make a decision on whether to activate him ahead of their game against the Brewers later in the day, the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Votto was spotted on the field prior to Tuesday's game and took grounders at first base while doing some running and sliding. The 34-year-old had been hobbled by a bad bruise on his right leg since the first week of the month before the Reds finally elected to shut him down Aug. 16. His recent on-field activity suggests that he's made some progress in his recovery, but the non-contending Reds aren't likely to activate Votto unless they're convinced he's close to 100 percent healthy.
