Nationals re-signed RHP Jimmy Barthmaier to a minor league contract. It's not clear if he'll be getting a spring training invite. Barthmaier held a 5.05 ERA and 1.55 WHIP over 67 2/3 innings for Double-A Harrisburg, though he did strike out 69 batters. The 28-year-old hasn't appeared in the majors since 2008.
