The Dodgers announced Friday that Therrien (elbow) received an invitation to their big-league spring training camp, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Therrien missed the entire 2018 season while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. During his year off, Therrien at least had the benefit of having his recovery monitored by the Dodgers' medical staff, as the team signed him last November to a minor-league contract. He was re-signed earlier this winter and will presumably enter the spring without any restrictions now that he's nearly 17 months removed from the procedure.

Therrien (elbow) signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Wednesday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
EDGE Analysis
Therrien will likely miss the 2018 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in late-September. During this past year, he appeared in 15 games for the Phillies, posting an 8.35 ERA and 1.69 WHIP over the course of 18.1 relief innings.

Therrien (elbow), who was activated from the 60-day disabled list Monday, cleared waivers and elected to become a free agent.
EDGE Analysis
Therrien is expected to miss the entire 2018 campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery near the end of September, so he'll likely focus on getting healthy before he looks to sign elsewhere. The 24-year-old compiled an 8.35 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 18.1 innings for the Phillies in 2017.

Therrien (elbow) underwent Tommy John surgery earlier this week, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
We knew Therrien had a UCL injury, and it turns out it was bad enough to require reconstructive surgery. It's a tough break for the 24-year-old right-hander, as he will likely miss the entire 2018 season given the timing of the procedure. It sounds like the Phillies could remove Therrien from the roster this offseason then re-sign him to a minor-league deal and pay for his rehab.

Therrien (elbow) was placed on the 60-day disabled list Monday with a right elbow strain.
EDGE Analysis
Therrien has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season because of the ailment, so this move simply opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for Zac Curtis, who was recently claimed off waivers from the Mariners. The severity of the injury is still unknown, leaving his status for the start of next season up in the air. The 24-year-old compiled an 8.35 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 18.1 innings for the big club this season.

Therrien has a UCL injury and is expected to miss the rest of the 2017 campaign, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The severity of Therrien's injury is unknown at this point in time, but more information should become available in the coming days. Therrien appeared in 15 games this season, over which he threw 18.1 innings and allowed 17 runs on 24 hits and seven walks. He'll end the year with an 8.35 ERA and 1.69 WHIP.

Therrien was charged with a blown save Thursday after allowing three runs on two hits and a walk in two-thirds of an inning.
EDGE Analysis
Therrien was dominant in the minor-leagues this season, but he has had some difficulties adapting to the majors. He has an 8.74 ERA and an 8:4 K:BB in 11.1 innings. He has also allowed five home runs in his 12 appearances. The rookie is not going to be in the mix for late-inning work anytime soon.

Therrien was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday, Mitch Rupert of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has impressed at both Double-A Reading and Lehigh Valley this year, combining for a 1.88 ERA, 65 strikeouts, nine walks and nine saves in 57.1 innings. Therrien may quickly move toward high-leverage situations as the rebuilding Phillies try out new bullpen options. NL-only players can give him an early look.
