Cubs signed RHP Jensen Lewis to a minor league contract. Lewis hasn't appeared in the majors since 2010 and spent last year with the Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliate. While he's had success in the past as a middle reliever, he remains doubtful to win a spot in the Cubs' bullpen in spring training.

The owner of a 3.68 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 198 major-league innings over four seasons, Lewis was struggling mightily as a reliever for Triple-A Columbus this year, posting a 5.14 ERA and 1.96 WHIP in 28 innings. Still just 27, he'll likely be able to latch on somewhere else.
