Mets signed RHP Jeff Stevens to a minor league contract. Stevens, 28, has an ugly 6.28 ERA and 28/25 K/BB ratio over 37 1/3 innings of relief in the major leagues, all with the Cubs. He'll serve as bullpen depth in the minors.
