The Marlins traded Chisholm to the Yankees on Saturday in exchange for Agustin Ramirez, Jared Serna and Abrahan Ramirez, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The addition of Chisholm gives the Yankees another left-handed bat with speed, as he's recorded 22 stolen bases this season, eight of which have come in July. It's unclear exactly how he will fit into the lineup, but it could mean that Alex Verdugo is the odd man out of an outfield made up of Chisholm, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, especially with Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) targeting a return Monday. Chisholm has also seen time at second base this season, and he could perhaps take over the primary role there from Gleyber Torres. For the season, Chisholm is slashing .249/.323/.407 with 14 doubles, 13 home runs and 50 RBI across 430 plate appearances.

Chisholm went 1-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old has been taking his leadoff duties seriously in July. Chisholm is batting just .198 (16-for-81) on the month, but he's drawn 12 free passes in 20 games and his 12.8 percent walk rate during that time is a significant jump from his career rate of 7.7 percent. The extra opportunities on the basepaths have also translated into fantasy production -- he's gone 8-for-9 on steal attempts in July, giving Chisholm 22 stolen bases in 101 games on the season and putting him one short of matching his career high.

Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a pair of stolen bases in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Chisholm continues to build his value in advance of the trade deadline. The outfielder drove in a pair of runs with a double in the Marlins' four-run second inning while also swiping his 20th and 21st bags of the season. Chisholm's now batting .300 (6-for-20) with a pair of extra-base hits following the All-Star break. He's slashing .251/.325/.412 with 13 homers, 47 RBI and 43 runs scored through 416 plate appearances this season.

Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Chisholm took Christian Scott deep in the fourth inning and drove in what turned out to be the three deciding runs in Sunday's win. Chisholm now has multi-hit games in two of his first three contests after the All-Star break as trade rumors continue to hover around him. The 26-year-old is hitting .251/.322/.411 with 13 home runs, 45 RBI and 19 stolen bases through 96 games this season.

Chisholm went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
With trade rumors swirling around him, Chisholm has been having a little trouble staying focused at the plate. The 26-year-old has a .185/.290/.296 slash line through 13 games in July with two homers, three RBI and six runs, but he's kept his fantasy value afloat by adding five steals, giving him 19 on the season -- just four short of the career-high 23 he pilfered in 2021.

Chisholm will bat leadoff and start at second base in Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Chisholm will be making his first start at second base since 2022. The 26-year-old came into the league as a second baseman before transitioning to center field in 2023, so he has plenty of previous experience at the position. Vidal Brujan, who has been logging semi-regular starts at second base, is trading off with Chisholm and will cover center field Sunday.

Chisholm went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
He took Shawn Dubin deep in the fifth inning, Chisholm's second homer in the last three games and his 12th of the year. The center fielder has trade rumors swirling around him, but Chisholm has largely been able to block them out -- over the last month, he's slashed .280/.346/.409 with three homers, six steals, 10 runs and 11 RBI in 26 contests.

Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Chisholm has shown much more speed than power recently -- he has four steals over his last five games, and his homer Tuesday was his first since June 13. The 26-year-old is up to 11 long balls, 18 thefts, 41 RBI, 39 runs scored and a .258/.328/.417 slash line through 88 contests. Chisholm's rate stats are roughly in line with his career norms, but staying healthy has kept him on track to put up personal bests in most -- if not all -- of the counting-stat categories.

Chisholm went 0-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
It's the third steal in the last four games for Chisholm, who's up to 17 stolen bases on the season -- his career high is 23, set back in 2021. The 26-year-old is finding ways to contribute, but he hasn't homered in 21 straight games, a stretch in which Chisholm is slashing .260/.345/.301 with just two extra-base hits, a double and a triple.

Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 3-2 loss to the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
For the second straight game, Chisholm reached base three times while swiping a base. The 26-year-old has been doing his job of late at the top of the order, slashing .315/.378/.397 over his last 21 games, but he's scored only seven runs over that stretch due to the overall struggles of the Miami offense. On the season, Chisholm is batting what would be a career-high .262 with 10 homers, 16 steals, 37 runs and 40 RBI in 85 contests.
