The Pirates traded Jackson to the Brewers on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Jackson figures to slot into the rotation at Triple-A Nashville, likely replacing Mike Fiers, who's expected to start for the big club Saturday. In 25 appearances (12 starts) with Triple-A Indianapolis this season, Jackson has posted a 4.89 ERA and 1.50 WHIP, so he's little more than organizational depth.
