Junis (2-4) got the loss after pitching 4.2 innings and allowing three runs on four hits and a walk, striking out six versus the Indians on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old got called up on Tuesday from Triple-A Omaha and the start was his first action in the majors since June 3. A first inning home run and a two-run single in the third inning by Amed Rosario accounted for all the damage against the right-hander. In what was Junis's longest outing since April 27, he was able to grind out a decent start, but it is yet to be seen if he'll make another start for the big league club.

The Royals recalled Junis from Triple-A Omaha to start Tuesday's game against Cleveland, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The righty has pitched well in his last two outings for Omaha, striking out six and allowing three hits in 7.1 scoreless innings. Junis is unlikely to pitch deep into Tuesday's game, as it's his first big-league appearance since June 3 and he hasn't lasted more than 4.1 frames in an outing since returning from injury at Triple-A. He was unimpressive earlier this season with the Royals, posting a 5.19 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 34.2 innings.

Junis (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day minor-league injured list Thursday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Junis had been on the injured list since July 9, although the nature of his injury still isn't clear. However, the right-hander recently began a rehab assignment and allowed three runs in 5.1 innings across three starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. He'll start Thursday's game at Triple-A Omaha now that he's fully healthy.

Junis (undisclosed) has made three rehab starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, covering 5.1 total innings while striking out eight and giving up three earned runs on nine hits and zero walks.
EDGE Analysis
Junis has been on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Omaha since July 9, but he was cleared to begin his rehab assignment in the ACL just over a month later. After building up to 2.1 innings in his most recent rehab start Saturday, Junis may only require one or two more outings in the lower levels of the minors before slotting back into the Omaha rotation.

Junis was placed on the 7-day injured list with Triple-A Omaha on Friday due to an undisclosed injury, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Junis was optioned to Omaha on June 6 after struggling to a 5.19 ERA and 1.44 WHIP across 15 innings. Things haven't gotten better for the right-hander following his demotion, as he's allowed 11 earned runs on 19 hits across 10.1 Triple-A innings. It's unclear what the 28-year-old is dealing with, but he won't pitch for at least the next seven days.

Junis was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Junis picked up a relief win during his last outing, but he's posted a 5.19 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 34.2 innings across 15 innings (five starts) to begin the year. He'll head to the minors as part of a shuffle to make room for Jackson Kowar, who will be called up to make his major-league debut as Monday's starter against the Angels.

Junis (2-3) allowed one earned run on two hits across one inning, picking up the win over the Twins on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Junis entered the seventh inning with a one-run lead. He surrendered the lead on a solo home run by Josh Donaldson. Ultimately, he got the win once the Royals retook the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. The 28-year-old has struggled this season with a 5.19 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP in 34.2 innings. He has a 9.1 K/9 and a 2.9 BB/9.

Junis allowed a run on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 2.1 innings of Thursday's 7-2 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Junis was able to end the third inning after an abbreviated start from Brady Singer. The 28-year-old Junis proceeded to labor through the fourth and fifth, allowing six baserunners in the relief appearance. After a stint in the rotation in April, the right-hander has worked out of the bullpen in his six of his last seven appearances. He's posted a 5.23 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB across 32.2 innings overall.

Junis (1-3) took the loss in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the White Sox, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits over 1.1 innings. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander hadn't recorded more than five outs in any of his first four appearances in May, so he likely wasn't going to last long in Friday's spot start anyway, but Junis' struggles made the decision to pull him quickly easier for Royals manager Mike Matheny. Junis now carries a 5.52 ERA, largely fueled by a 1.53 HR/9, despite a 31:8 K:BB through 29.1 innings.

Junis will start the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the White Sox, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Junis had come out of the bullpen in each of his last four appearances but will serve as a spot starter in Friday's twin bill. The right-hander has posted a 5.14 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 28 innings across 10 appearances (four starts) this year.
