Rogers went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-0 victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The Detroit backstop started his 34th game of the season and drove home two with his sixth career triple in the fifth inning. Rogers is not a viable fantasy option while he is the clear backup to Dillon Dingler. Through 123 total plate appearances, the 30-year-old is now slashing .200/.295/.362 with 18 RBI and 14 runs scored.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Picking up a start in place of Dillon Dingler, Rogers managed his third double of the season and collected his 15th and 16th RBI. It's been a struggle for the veteran catcher, who is slashing just .182/.278/.323 overall. The drop in power is noticeable, as Rogers had a .444 slugging percentage back in 2023, when he also smashed a career-high 21 home runs. The 30-year-old has had to settle for a backup role behind Dingler as his production has fallen off.

Rogers went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers started the Wednesday matinee, giving Dillon Dingler a day off, and the former delivered his third home run of the season. Two of those long balls have come in his last four appearances, and while it's been a struggle for Rogers overall in 2025, he's at least showing some signs of life lately. The catcher did slug 21 home runs as recently as 2023, so the power potential is there, but Rogers should remain firmly behind Dingler on Detroit's depth chart.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers had the only two hits for Detroit and scored the team's lone run despite hitting in the nine spot in the lineup. It was the catcher's first multi-hit performance since June 13 and just his third of the year. This season has been a struggle for Rogers, who's slashing .184/.292/.316, and he's clearly fallen behind Dillon Dingler on the Tigers' depth chart.

Rogers went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers picked up the start with Dillon Dingler getting a breather, and the former managed to pop only his second home run of the season. It's been a struggle for Rogers, who is batting just .167 with a .588 OPS in 29 games this year. Dingler has been much more productive with a .267 average and .727 OPS, which has relegated Rogers to a bench role and greatly diminished his fantasy value.

Rogers is starting at catcher and batting eighth in Wednesday's game against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
With Dillon Dingler getting a breather following two straight starts, Rogers will slide into Wednesday's lineup. The latter is struggling at the plate this season with a .139/.244/.194 slash line and no home runs, making him an unattractive fantasy option while Dingler continues to see the bulk of the starts at catcher.

Rogers is starting at catcher and batting ninth in Thursday's game against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers will start Thursday's afternoon tilt to give Dillon Dingler a rest following three straight starts behind the plate. Dingler has emerged as Detroit's top catcher with a .296 batting average and .795 OPS, while Rogers is batting only .125 with a .410 OPS. Rogers has also yet to go deep in 2025, which has sapped him of pretty much any fantasy utility at this point.

Rogers is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers has clearly fallen behind Dillon Dingler as Detroit's top catching option, with the latter starting for the fifth time in six days Saturday. Dingler, who is sporting a .794 OPS, took advantage of Rogers missing about six weeks with an oblique strain to emerge as a viable offensive threat and a regular starter. By comparison, Rogers has just a .449 OPS, which should keep him entrenched as the backup for the time being.

Rogers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
Since being activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Rogers has operated as the Tigers' clear No. 2 catcher. He's started just two of the Tigers' last six games, with Dillon Dingler behind the dish for the other four games.

The Tigers activated Rogers (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers missed six weeks with a strained oblique but is back in the Tigers' lineup Tuesday against the Cardinals, catching for Tarik Skubal. With Rogers reinstated, Detroit designated Tomas Nido for assignment.
