Astros general manager Dana Brown said Sunday that he expects Meyers (calf) to be out for "at the very minimum, three-plus weeks," Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
After he initially tweaked his right calf last Sunday in a win over the Dodgers, Meyers was held out of the lineup for two days before he checked back into the starting nine in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Guardians. Though he was credited with a start, Meyers didn't end up playing after aggravating the injury while running out to center field prior to the first pitch. He's since been diagnosed with a calf strain, and the injury is apparently viewed as more than a minor tweak, given that Brown has already seemingly counted Meyers out from returning before the beginning of August at the earliest. Taylor Trammell has started in center field in each of the three games since Meyers landed on the shelf and should have a clear path to an everyday role until the banged-up Astros regain some health in the outfield. In addition to Meyers, Houston has already lost Yordan Alvarez (hand), Pedro Leon (knee), Chas McCormick (oblique), Zach Dezenzo (hand) and Jacob Melton (ankle) to the injured list.

The Astros placed Meyers on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to July 10, due to a right calf strain, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers missed back-to-back games earlier this week due to right calf tightness and aggravated the injury during Wednesday's contest against Cleveland. Further testing revealed the center fielder is dealing with a strain, which will result in a stint on the injured list. While he's idle, look for Kenedy Corona and Taylor Trammell to handle most of the center field work.

Meyers was pulled from Wednesday's game versus Cleveland due to right calf tightness, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers was scheduled to return Wednesday from a two-game absence caused by tightness in his right calf, but he aggravated the injury while running to center field ahead of the first pitch and had to be helped off the field. The severity of his injury remains unknown, but after suffering two injuries to the same calf in four days, the Astros could decide to place him on the injured list. Kenedy Corona and Taylor Trammell would likely see an increase in playing time if Meyers were to miss any amount of games.

Meyers was removed from Wednesday's game against the Guardians with an apparent leg injury, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers injured himself while running out to center field for the beginning of Wednesday's contest, and he had to rely on one of Houston's athletic trainers for support while walking off the field. The 29-year-old outfielder missed Houston's last two games while battling a calf injury, though it's currently unknown if his removal Wednesday is due to a similar issue.

Meyers (calf) will start in center field and bat second in Wednesday's game versus the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers didn't play the last two days after tweaking his right calf in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Dodgers. However, he is feeling well enough to start Wednesday as the Astros go for the series sweep versus Cleveland.

Meyers (calf) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers tweaked his right calf in Sunday's win over the Dodgers and has now missed two straight starts. He's considered day-to-day, but with an off day looming Thursday, the Astros could choose to hold Meyers out at least until Friday. Taylor Trammell is handling center field and batting ninth Tuesday.

Meyers (calf) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Meyers was pulled from Sunday's 5-1 win over the Dodgers in the sixth inning due to right calf tightness, Astros manager Joe Espada described the outfielder's removal as precautionary. However, Meyers' absence from the lineup Monday in addition to the Astros' decision to call up an outfielder (Kenedy Corona) from Triple-A Sugar Land perhaps suggests that the calf injury may be more of a concern than Espada was letting on. The Astros are still viewing Meyers as day-to-day, but if he's unable to return to the lineup by the series finale Wednesday, he could be at risk of landing on the injured list.

Meyers (calf) exited Sunday's 5-1 win over the Dodgers in the bottom of the sixth inning due to right calf tightness, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers was removed from the game because the team wanted to be "cautious" with the outfielder, according to manager Joe Espada. Meyers had gone 1-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout in the contest before his departure. He can be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener against Cleveland.

Meyers isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers went 3-for-5 with three runs scored during Friday's 18-1 rout of the Dodgers, giving him six hits in his last three games. He'll get a chance to rest Saturday while Mauricio Dubon starts in center field, giving Zack Short a chance to start at shortstop.

Meyers went 3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in Friday's 18-1 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Meyers was one of four Astros to post three or more hits. He continues to be a steady bat in the lineup as the starting center fielder -- he's hitting .365 (27-for-74) over his last 20 games. On the year, he's up to a .309/.368/.407 slash line with three home runs, 21 RBI, 47 runs scored, 14 stolen bases, 15 doubles and two triples through 86 games. Meyers has been hitting second in the order against all pitchers since Isaac Paredes was moved to the leadoff spot to cover the absence of Jeremy Pena (ribs).
