The Brewers placed Chourio (hand) on the 10-day injured list Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio was hit on the left hand by a pitch while playing an exhibition game with Team Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic back on March 4. He returned to action a few days later, but a recent MRI revealed a hairline fracture at the base of his third metacarpal, per Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Chourio is expected to be sidelined 2-to-4 weeks. Jake Bauers, Garrett Mitchell, Blake Perkins and Brandon Lockridge should see more reps in the outfield for the Brewers as a result of Chourio's injury. The club could also use designated hitter Christian Yelich more in the outfield while Chourio is out.

Chourio (hand) will start in center field and bat second for Team Venezuela in Monday's game against Team Nicaragua in the World Baseball Classic.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, Chourio will make his return to the starting nine after sitting out Venezuela's first two games of the WBC while recovering from the left hand injury he suffered when he was hit by a pitch Wednesday in an exhibition game. Before joining the Venezuelan team for the WBC, Chourio appeared in six Cactus League games for the Brewers, going 4-for-18 with a 3:3 BB:K.

Team Venezuela manager Omar Lopez told reporters Saturday that Chourio (hand) should be in the lineup for Monday's World Baseball Classic game against Nicaragua, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio has been out of Venezuela's lineup for each of the last two games while nursing a left hand injury that he suffered in an exhibition game Wednesday when he was hit by a pitch. The good news for Chourio is that the injury isn't considered a long-term concern, and the 21-year-old should be back in the lineup for Monday's WBC contest.

Chourio is out of the lineup for Venezuela's World Baseball Classic game against the Netherlands on Friday due to a left hand injury, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old was hit by a pitch during Wednesday's exhibition game and won't start Friday, but he's expected to be available to pinch run and play defense after X-rays came back negative, per Alvarez-Montes. The injury doesn't appear to be a serious concern, but it's unclear if Chourio will be cleared to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's matchup with Israel.

Chourio (hamstring) will start in left field and bat second in Game 4 of the NLCS against the Dodgers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio aggravated his injured hamstring during the seventh inning of Game 3 on Thursday, but he is seemingly feeling well enough to remain in the starting nine Friday. The 21-year-old outfielder has been one of the few Brewers hitters to contribute consistently during the postseason, slashing .276/.290/.552 with two homers and eight RBI through 31 plate appearances.

Chourio exited Thursday's game against the Dodgers after appearing to aggravate his hamstring injury, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio took an apparently normal swing in the seventh inning, but he immediately came up hobbling. He was quickly removed from the game and was seen grabbing at his hamstring. Blake Perkins entered to replace him.

Chourio said Monday that his right hamstring feels "close to 100 percent," Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio missed most of August with a right hamstring strain and had to be removed from Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS after the hamstring flared up on him. While it appears Chourio is on the mend, the Brewers are still likely to ask the outfielder to take it easy on the basepaths so as not to aggravate the injury. Chourio is slashing .389/.421/.667 with one home run, two doubles and six RBI in five games this postseason.

Chourio (hamstring) will start in left field and bat second Wednesday in Game 3 of the NLDS against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio had to be removed from each of the first two games of the series with right hamstring tightness, but he's been cleared to play Wednesday as the Brewers look to close out the series. The 21-year-old will likely be under strict orders to take it easy on the basepaths. Chourio is 5-for-7 with one home run and six RBI so far in the series.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Tuesday that Chourio was removed from Monday's Game 2 of the NLDS versus the Cubs in the ninth inning after his right hamstring tightened up, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's the same hamstring that Chourio tweaked in Game 1, forcing his removal from that contest. Murphy noted that Chourio will go through a very light workout Tuesday at Wrigley Field prior to Wednesday's Game 3, and the outfielder is considered day-to-day. Chourio is 5-for-7 with one home run and six RBI in the first two games of the series. If Chourio forced to miss Game 3, Isaac Collins would likely replace him in the outfield.

Chourio went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Monday's 7-3 victory in Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Chourio's status leading up to Monday night was uncertain after he departed Game 1 early with a hamstring injury, but he showed plenty of juice in Game 2. His biggest moment of the evening came in the bottom of the fourth inning when he clubbed a three-run home run off Daniel Palencia, providing his team with key insurance runs. It was clear throughout the game that Chourio wasn't running at full speed, as reported by Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, so it'll be worth keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old's status leading up to Wednesday's Game 3. Milwaukee did replace Chourio in left field for the top of the ninth inning, but the team has yet to indicate that this move was anything more than a precaution.
