Tony Cingrani yielded three runs in five innings Friday in a no-decision against the Phillies.
Following his recent bout of shoulder soreness, Cingrani needed 100 pitches to complete the five frames. After posting a 1.50 ERA over his first three starts in the majors, the southpaw has allowed nine runs in 15 innings over his last three starts and has served up five homers in the process. We still like Cingrani for the long-term, but he could be headed back to the minors next week when Johnny Cueto (lat) returns from the disabled list.

Yeah it looked like he was up to stay, but only the best get it the first time. He should be back to stay, maybe late July/August. GL Tony.
