Patrick Corbin limited the Padres to one run in seven innings and struck out seven in Arizona's 8-1 victory Saturday.
Corbin improved to 4-0 and lowered his ERA to 1.80. The Diamondbacks have won all six of his starts. There's still nothing really that stands about his arsenal, but as he's hitting his spots with his low-90s fastball and mixing in a pretty good slider. It's been plenty good enough so far.
Who cares who wrote it. I don't think he'll continue pitching at this level, I never said as much. It's just that they talk about him as though he's a complete scrub, buddy. If you watch him pitch, he actually mixes it up pretty well and he's not exactly an old man either.
