Nick Markakis has logged a .367/.412/.400 batting line in 34 July plate appearances. It's nice to see after Markakis limped to a .229 average in June. Owners are no doubt a little disappointed by Markakis' power output in 2013, as he's hit just one home run since June 1 and logged only eight on the season. He's slugging 49 points below his career average.
