Moss homered Sunday for the first time since July 24 in the A's win over the Mariners. Because so many things have gone wrong for the A's in the last month, it was easy to blame the Yoenis Cespedes trade on their struggles. Getting Moss back to where he was, or at least a close facsimile of that, would help assuage their power concerns.

Facsimile means an exact copy. The verbal usage means to make a copy of. I had to look it up so don't feel too bad.
