Mat Latos underwent an MRI exam on his forearm on Saturday. He felt renewed soreness in his forearm during Friday's bullpen session and was sent for the test to determine the severity of the injury. It's a big setback for Latos, who is now unlikely to rejoin the Reds rotation before the end of April. Alfredo Simon will continue to hold down the fort in his absence.
