ESPN's Buster Olney writes that there's a "strong sentiment" within the Phillies organization right now that the team would be better off trading Jimmy Rollins as soon as possible. It isn't clear whether this has anything to do with Rollins' recent issue with manager Ryne Sandberg or if the organization is simply ready to move on. Of course, Rollins has 10-and-5 rights and can reject any trade, so he is able to control his own destiny. Either way, it's not a good situation. Rollins, 35, is owed $11 million this season while his contract includes an $11 million vesting option for 2015.
