DeGrom (forearm) has rejoined the team in Atlanta and is expected to resume throwing "imminently," Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Although deGrom remains without a set date to resume his throwing program, it sounds like he will pick up a baseball in the coming days, if not later on Friday. He will presumably start with standard flat-ground catch, then gradually ramp up to bullpen sessions and ultimately live sessions. That won't leave him much of a window to contribute over the remainder of the regular season, but he seems to have a chance to return for a start or two during the Mets' wild card push.
