DeGrom allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four in seven innings Saturday.
Degrom needed just 81 pitches to go seven. He has shown no signs of slippage this spring after a Rookie of the Year campaign last year, going 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA and 21:4 K:BB ratio in 22 innings. DeGrom will start the second game of the regular season against the Nationals on AprIL 8.
