Anderson (4-3) allowed five earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five across 3.2 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson continued his season-long troubles with walks and home runs, allowing multiple of each in his start Saturday. The trouble began immediately as he walked two batters in the first inning, leading to three runs. The Mets then added two solo home runs in the second and third innings before chasing him in the fourth inning. Anderson has now allowed multiple home runs in four of his 10 starts and has a walk rate of 3.6 BB/9. Both marks are well off of last season's pace, as he allowed just three multi-home run games in 25 starts and surrendered just 2.61 BB/9.

I thought coming into this season, like most if not everybody else, that honor was all reserved for Chase Anderson. But has he peaked and gone?

Is the team contending for first place in their division at home tonight against the Cubs really not led by the big guy? Maybe their real ace is Joulys Chacin, who is currently pitching the best? Or maybe it's the guy with all that stuff, Zack Davies? How about Junior Guerra? I might give the nod right now to Bruce Suter myself.

Well Anderson, here's your chance to make a big statement tonight, not to mention help my fantasy team! So get on out there and GET AFTER IT, dude!
