Haskin is on the 7-day injured list with Triple-A Norfolk as he recovers from a left hamstring strain, Tides radio voice Pete Michaud reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was unsustainable, but Haskin was on fire to start the year, slashing .391/.500/.652 with two home runs and four steals through 56 plate appearances before suffering the injury April 16. Amid that production, Haskin had a .615 BABIP and 32.1 percent strikeout rate, so it's hard to read too much into the gaudy early production.

Haskin (thumb) reported to Sarasota, Fla. on Monday to participate in the Orioles' fall instructional league camp, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haskins' 2021 campaign came to an end in late August, when he sustained a fractured thumb. With just over six weeks to recover, Haskin looks like he'll be ready to go for instructional ball as at least a limited participant, putting him on track to head into 2022 spring training without any restrictions. The 22-year-old outfielder slashed .275/.389/.385 in 26 games for High-A Aberdeen before being shelved with the injury.

High-A Aberdeen placed Haskin on its 7-day injured list Thursday with a fractured thumb, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haskin is expected to require multiple weeks of recovery time regardless of whether he undergoes surgery, so his first season of professional ball has come to a close. After not getting the chance to make his debut in 2020 following his selection with the 39th overall pick in the first-year player draft earlier that summer, Haskin began his career at Low-A Delmarva before earning a call-up to Aberdeen shortly after the mid-season break. In 25 games at High-A, Haskin hit .267 with a .111 ISO, a 10 percent walk rate and a 16.7 percent strikeout rate across 108 plate appearances.

The Orioles promoted Haskin from Low-A Delmarva to High-A Aberdeen on Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2020 second-round pick will move up a rung on the minor-league ladder after he posted a .792 OPS, 9.2 percent walk rate and 23.6 percent strikeout rate while going 17-for-22 on stolen-base attempts across 254 plate appearances at Delmarva. The 22-year-old Haskin is regarded as one of the Orioles' top prospects in the lower levels of the minors.
