Howie Kendrick left Tuesday's game against the Rangers after spraining his left wrist while attempting to dive for a ground ball in the top of the fifth inning. He went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts before being replaced by Alexi Amarista at second base. No official word from the team, but chances are he has played his final game this season.

Howie Kendrick went 2-for-5 with two homers and four RBI in Tuesday's win against the A's. He's up to 18 homers and 58 RBI on the season. Kendrick has been great all year, but he broke out of a mini-slump tonight, as he had hit just .220 with a .653 OPS in September entering the game. He's batting .291/.342/.475 overall in 2011.

Howie Kendrick singled and launched a two-run homer in Sunday's loss to the Yankees. The first-inning blast provided the Angels with an early cushion, but they were unable to hold on. Kendrick has shown more pop this season, belting a career-high 16 bombs after posting 10-homer seasons each of the last two years. He's also hitting .290 and has stolen 13 bases.

Howie Kendrick's third-inning RBI single would be all the offense the Angels could muster in a 2-1 loss to the Mariners on Wednesday. His hit held up until the eighth, where Mike Carp ripped Scott Downs for a two-RBI double. Kendrick will finish the month with a .284 average and six of his 14 home runs. He's the owner of a .297/.351/.467 triple slash on the season.

Howie Kendrick went 3-for-3 with a homer and a double Sunday versus the Rangers. Kendrick homered in all three games against the Rangers and five of the last six games overall, giving him 14 homers for the year. His power has certainly been inconsistent -- he hit six homers in April and then two the next three months -- but he's going to end the year as one of the game's most productive second basemen.

Howie Kendrick went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in the Angels' 11-7 loss to the Rangers on Friday. Kendrick's bomb came with the Halos trailing 11-5 in the ninth inning of game one of an all-important three-game set in Texas. Los Angeles' second baseman has now homered three times in his past four games, and driven in at least one run in six of his past eight games.

Howie Kendrick went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Los Angeles' 5-4 win over the White Sox on Tuesday. Kendrick's 11th home run of the season was his second in as many games and third in the past week. He's heating up at the exact right time for the Halos, who have now reeled off five straight victories to get themselves back in the thick of the race for the American League West after dropping three of four to the Rangers last week.

Howie Kendrick went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Angels loss to the Rangers on Wednesday. Kendrick's ninth bomb of the season was his first in 40 games, while the extra-base hit was just his seventh in 26 contests since the All-Star break. He's a poor option in shallower mixed leagues right now.

Howie Kendrick is not in Wednesday's lineup for the fourth time in the last 12 games. Kendrick didn't seem too pleased with the situation, telling reporters "I'm not going to talk about that," before walking away. Angels manager Mike Scioscia said he just wanted to get the switch-hitting Maicer Izturis in the lineup against tough righty Scott Baker. "He's had a little time off this last week, but Howie is a big part of our team, a big part of our offense," Scioscia said. "We wanted to get another left-handed bat in there against Baker. Though the matchup is not favorable tonight, he's going to be in there virtually every day, so this week is a chance for him to recharge a bit."

Howie Kendrick went 3-for-5 with a double and four RBI on Wednesday, helping the Angels rally from an 8-3 deficit in their 9-8 win over the Rangers. Kendrick singled home the final two runs of Los Angeles' six-run sixth, preventing the Rangers from notching their 13th straight victory and helping the Angels to a win they desperately needed. The four-RBI were a season high, while the multi-hit night was his first since June 1.
