Blanco went 1-for-4 with an RBI against the Rockies on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder is not San Francisco's biggest threat in the lineup, but he made his presence felt with his second RBI of the past 10 games. Blanco has gone 5-for-13 in a modest three-game hitting streak, and his average climbed to .244 as a result.

Blanco batted second and went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
While his performance wasn't anything to note, his spot in the batting order was. With Angel Pagan (hamstring) sidelined, Blanco is seeing regular playing time against right-handed pitchers, but with Joe Panik (groin) also on the shelf, manager Bruce Bochy has opted to bat Blanco second. The Giants have a four-game set with the Rockies starting Thursday, and Colorado is scheduled to throw righties Friday through Sunday. If both Pagan and Panik remain out through the weekend, Blanco would be an under-the-radar option in both deep leagues and daily formats.

Blanco is in the lineup and batting eighth for Tuesday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
With Angel Pagan dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, Blanco will likely receive some starts over the course of the week. The Venezuelan has been an effective reserve thus far, hitting .344/.400/.563 with three triples and three RBI through 19 games.

Blanco should see a few starts this week with the news of Angel Pagan (hamstring) set to miss at least a few games.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco has done a bang-up job filling in for injured Giants outfielders over the past couple of years, and he will be asked to do the same here. Pagan is projected to return in a few games, but those who need help in runs and steals in deeper leagues should take a look at Blanco given the former's spotty injury history.

Blanco went 2-for-3 with a pair of triples, a walk and two runs scored Saturday versus the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder has struggled to see consistent starts behind Angel Pagan, who took a seat for the first time this season on Saturday. He is now hitting .270 with five runs scores through 22 at-bats, but he is a middling fantasy option even when he does crack the starting lineup.

Blanco got the start in right field in place of Hunter Pence (rest) on Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in the loss to Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco has started four games this year, mainly serving as a bench bat for the Giants. He proved last season that he can be a low-end fantasy outfielder with regular playing time, but he won't come close to that value unless one of the Giants' current outfielders goes down to injury.

Blanco is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco will take a backseat to switch-hitting Angel Pagan on Thursday in order to optimize the Giants' lineup against left-hander Alex Wood. Blanco is 1-for-6 to start the season.

Blanco revealed Saturday that he's been nursing an oblique injury, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury, which was initially labeled a sore back, cost Blanco a week of action. He returned in a DH capacity Saturday, going 1-for-2 with a walk, and said afterward that he's ready to return to the field. Blanco is is expected to open the year as the Giants' fourth outfielder.

Blanco (back) was scratched from Thursday's lineup with back tightness, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco was originally slated to return today after sitting out since Monday, but his back apparently flared up once again. He'll hope to return to the outfield Friday, although his time may be limited going forward as Denard Span (shoulder) is also expected to return to center field on Friday.
