Gonzalez's (arm) next start is expected to come in the majors, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez has been out since late May with dead arm, but he's apparently ready to go after just two rehab appearances. He allowed a combined three runs on nine hits in 6.2 innings of work, striking out six and walking none. He lines up to pitch Saturday in Arizona and could boot Adrian Houser back to the bullpen.

Gonzalez (arm) will make a second rehab appearance Monday with Triple-A San Antonio, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
A dead arm has kept Gonzalez out of major-league action since late May. He's made one rehab appearance so far, allowing two runs on four hits in two innings Wednesday with High-A Carolina. It's not yet clear whether he'll require a third rehab appearance following Monday's outing.

Gonzalez (arm) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Carolina on Wednesday, Sophia Minnaert of FOX Sports Wisconsin reports.

Gonzalez (arm) is expected to require more than one rehab start before returning to the big leagues, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was previously thought to have a chance to return from his dead arm prior to the All-Star break. He's no longer on that timeline and will have to wait at least a little while into the second half before being activated. It's not yet clear exactly when his rehab assignment will begin.

Gonzalez (arm) will throw an "aggressive" bullpen session Thursday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
If everything goes off without a hitch, Gonzalez will be cleared to face live hitters before eventually being sent out on a minor-league rehab assignment. Barring setbacks, there's still a chance the southpaw can return from the injured list prior to the All-Star break, which begins July 8.

Gonzalez (arm) completed a bullpen session Tuesday and will throw another session after the team returns to Milwaukee on Thursday, Sophia Minnaert of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez will then require a minor-league rehab assignment but could make his return the week prior to the All-Star break, which begins July 8. The veteran left-hander has been sidelined since the start of June with a dead arm.

Gonzalez (arm) is expected to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Sophia Minnaert of FSN Wisconsin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez has been sidelined since late May with arm fatigue, but he was able to throw long toss Monday, and is set to throw from a mound a day later, barring any abnormal soreness. The next step in Gonzalez's recovery figures to be based on how things go during Tuesday's session.

Gonzalez (arm) is not expected to be activated before June 20, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Milwaukee has a three-city road trip coming up, and manager Craig Counsell effectively ruled out a return for Gonzalez during that trip. The lefty is working through a dead-arm phase. He's been effective during his time with the Brewers dating back to last year, and there's little doubt the team will use him as a starter again once he's healthy.

Gonzalez was placed on the 10-day injured list with a dead arm Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez reportedly isn't feeling any pain, but his arm simply didn't feel right. That doesn't sound particularly encouraging, but the Brewers don't currently appear to be expecting a long absence. Catcher Manny Pina (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move, with the Brewers taking advantage of a pair of off days to go with four starters for now. Zach Davies will start Sunday against the Pirates. Gonzalez will be eligible to return June 8, which happens to be the next time the Brewers will require a fifth starter.
