Manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that the MRI on Stanton's right knee showed "no new injury," Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton exited Tuesday's game with a right knee contusion, a diagnosis confirmed by the MRI. While he's dealing with soreness and stiffness, he's experiencing no swelling and it doesn't sound like a move to the injured list is imminent at this point. The Yankees will instead see how his knee responds to treatment over the next couple of hours -- and possibly days, with the team's next game coming Saturday in London -- before making a decision regarding Stanton's status. In the meantime, Brett Gardner is starting in left field in his stead Wednesday.

Stanton (knee) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton's absence for the day game after the night game doesn't come as much surprise after he exited Tuesday's 10-8 win with a right knee contusion. The Yankees were scheduled to send Stanton in for an MRI on Wednesday, but the results of his tests haven't yet been publicized. Brett Gardner will enter the lineup in left field and would be the primary beneficiary if Stanton requires a trip to the injured list. If the Yankees confirm that Stanton's injury is minor, he'll have three days to recover before the team's next game Saturday against the Red Sox in London.

Stanton's early exit from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays was due to a right knee contusion, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton left the game in the first inning with what at first appeared to be a hand injury after a slide into third base, but per Hoch, the knock is actually a right knee contusion. The slugger will get an MRI, which should provide more information as to the extent of the injury, while he should be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Stanton was removed from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays with an apparent hand injury, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton appeared to have his left hand stepped on sliding into third base during the first inning and was removed a couple innings later after attempting to stay in the game. Brett Gardner took over in left field for the Yankees.

Stanton went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Monday's 10-8 win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
It took him all of five games after returning from his lengthy IL stint for Stanton to join in 2019's home run parade, as he launched a sixth-inning slider from Derek Law over the center-field fence. Assuming he can stay healthy, look for the 29-year-old slugger to quickly make up for lost time in the power department.

Stanton is not in the lineup Sunday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Stanton will require frequent off days as he works his way back from a long injury layoff. Sunday's contest is his second time out of the lineup in the six games since his return. Brett Gardner starts in left field.

Stanton went 3-for-5 with two runs scored Thursday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton didn't join in the Yankees barrage of home runs Thursday, but did collect three hits -- all singles. He came around to score twice, his first since being activated from the injured list on June 18. Stanton has only 24 plate appearances for the season, but this performance gives some confidence he won't be significantly effected by the shoulder and bicep injuries that kept him out of the lineup for nearly three months.

Stanton is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Rays, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton will head to the bench for Wednesday's series finale as the Yankees look to ease him back into action following a lengthy stay on the injured list. Brett Gardner is starting in left field in place of Stanton, who went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in his first game back Tuesday.

Stanton (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list as expected Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton had been out since the end of March with a string of injuries. He's ready to go now after going 6-for-21 with five homers over six rehab games. He'll have to play the outfield more than before after Edwin Encarnacion was acquired to fill the designated hitter spot, but regardless of where he plays, he'll occupy a key spot in a strong lineup.

The Yankees intend to activate Stanton (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
One of the higher-profile players on the Yankees' roster who has spent extended time on the IL this season, Stanton finally looks to have moved past the biceps, calf and shoulder injuries that have kept him on the shelf since April 1. Stanton has put his huge power on display during his current minor-league rehab assignment, homering four times in four games between High-A Tampa and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Assuming he experiences no recurrence of the shoulder issue coming out of Sunday's appearance with the Triple-A club, Stanton should immediately reclaim an everyday role in left field. Stanton's arrival will likely leave Brett Gardner and Clint Frazier to vie for one spot in the Yankees' regular outfield.
