The 25-year-old was recalled Wednesday from Triple-A Charlotte and he didn't wait long to make an impact. He launched a three-run homer in the fourth inning off of the Pirates starter Max Kranick and another solo shot in the eighth off of reliever Duane Underwood. The outfielder will likely function mostly as a bench bat for the White Sox the rest of the way but he does provide the occasional long ball, having now hit eight homers in 30 games in the majors this season.
