Guerrero agreed to a minor-league contract with the Marlins, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
EDGE Analysis
Guerrero reached the big leagues for the first time in his career last September, appearing in 14 games for the Reds and recording three hits in 18 at-bats. After being non-tendered by Cincinnati after the season, Guerrero will move on to his fourth organization in Miami. Given the lack of established outfield talent on the Marlins' 40-man roster, it wouldn't be surprising if Guerrero eventually earned a promotion back to the majors if he fares well at Triple-A New Orleans.

Guerrero was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville after passing through waivers unclaimed.
EDGE Analysis
Guerrero played in 14 games with the Reds during the month of September, going 3-for-18 with a solo home run and eight strikeouts in his brief opportunity with the club. He spent a majority of the season at the Triple-A level after being promoted from Double-A Chattanooga in early May. Look for him to begin the 2019 campaign with Louisville.

Guerrero connected on a pinch-hit solo home run in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
It was the 24-year-old's first big-league homer. Guerrero's only seen 10 plate appearances since getting promoted in September, but he could be ready to compete for a regular roster spot in Cincinnati next spring given his .292/.326/.475 slash line in 104 games for Triple-A Louisville this season.

Guerrero's contract was selected by the Reds on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Guerrero hit a solid .292/.326/.475 with 17 homers in 104 games for Triple-A Louisville this season. The 24-year-old has yet to receive his major-league debut. He'll get one in the near future, though there doesn't appear to be a large amount of at-bats to go around in the outfield down the stretch.

The Reds are expected to formally promote Guerrero from Triple-A Louisville prior to Monday's game against the Pirates, Craig Mish of Sirius XM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cincinnati hasn't announced the transaction and Guerrero isn't included in the team's lineup for the series opener, but it appears the 24-year-old will be added to the 40-man roster after punishing pitchers at Double-A Pensacola and Louisville throughout the season. Between the two stops, Guerrero slashed .293/.328/.474 with 19 home runs and 81 RBI across 539 plate appearances. With the Reds seemingly content with Scott Schebler, Billy Hamilton and Phillip Ervin as their everyday outfield, Guerrero isn't expected to see regular at-bats in September.

Guerrero re-signed Sunday with the Reds on a minor-league contract, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Guerrero was once a prospect of some renown, but after managing an ugly .281 on-base percentage between Double-A and Triple-A last season, the Diamondbacks elected to drop him from their 40-man roster in November. The Reds went on to claim Guerrero off waivers, but parted ways with him just a few days later in order to open up a roster spot for another player. Cincinnati still apparently sees potential in the 22-year-old outfielder, however, as he'll remain with the organization and figures to report to Triple-A Louisville coming out of spring training.

The Reds declined to tender Guerrero a contract Friday, making him a free agent, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Guerrero was brought in on a waiver claim from Arizona just days ago, but the Reds ultimately thought better of tendering him a contract for 2017. The 22-year-old hit just .234/.281/.383 between Double-A and Triple-A last season, with a dismal .586 OPS in 34 games in the Pacific Coast League.

Guerrero was claimed off waivers by the Reds on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The nephew of Vladimir Guerrero was DFA'd by the Diamondbacks earlier in the month after failing to impress between Double-A and Triple-A last season. That being said, the 22-year-old outfielder does possess an intriguing mix of extra-base power and speed, so if he can get his strikeout rate on par with his nice 8.2 percent walk rate he posted with Triple-A Reno, Guerrero could garner a bit more attention in the Reds organization.

Guerrero was designated for assignment by Arizona on Friday ahead of the Rule 5 draft.
EDGE Analysis
Guerrero failed to show much improvement between Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Reno this season, posting a .234/.281/.383 line, so Arizona decided to use his 40-man spot on prospect Domingo Leyba instead.

Guerrero has a .222/.266/.368 line through 43 games at Double-A Mobile.
EDGE Analysis
While his slash line may be seen as disappointing to most, Guerrero has slightly improved from 2015's numbers. His on-base percentage is up from .258 and his slugging percentage has risen from .343. Guerrero has hit four home runs, putting him on pace to surpass last year's lackluster total of seven. However, his strikeout rate of 23.6 percent is far too high and a .222 batting average leaves much to be desired. Guerrero will likely stay at Double-A Mobile for the remainder of the season to work towards reaching his power hitting potential.
